This is my new setup. I just moved from out of the closet into a 56"x56"x79" grow tent. I have a 1000 watt mh light on the kids now and a home made carbon airfilter that works great so far (we'll see when i get to flower). The plants are being grown in a home made "bubbleponic" or deep water culture type setup. I am in the process of sexing the plants, but i already found one white widow male and discarded it.

even with the 1000 watt light, the temps are still around 80 degrees. i was quite suprised, but i will be installing an a/c probably in the next day or so, i already have the damn thing but im just to lazy to get it setup just yet.

The little plants are just a couple of weeks old and are still in the closet, and the bigger ones are about 4 1/2 weeks old. All were started from seed, and there is a makeshift CO2 system i have rigged up that bascially uses paintball parts and a sprinkler head that looks curiously like a yellow marijuana leaf.

def, since i am living in a place that is not mine, i figured it was the best way to make things work out so i could create a better environment. instead of having to rip out carpet, screw a bunch of holes in the wall or risk setting the place i am living in on fire, why not just set up a tent?

right on man. how come you chose bagseed why not something better after spending all the money on the tent and hps?

the tent, with shipping and handeling was about $240. i got it from htgsupply.com. seems like a solid company. response time was fast and they gave me a tracking number within a day or so of purchasing. it took about 5 days to get to where i'm at but that also includes a weekend.

no, the filter i fabbed up myself using parts that can be purchased at home depot. when all was said and done, it probably cost $20-25 to make. it works well so far cause even though i am in veg right now, you can still smell the plants pretty well, especially if you know what ur smelling for.

Activated Carbon Pre-filter (Honeywell) $9.99
6 inch ducting flange $6.99
Duct tape $2.99
used a couple of hangers to provide support for the filter $3
then used a piece of cardboard to help seal off the end (but of course wrapped it in duct tape)
