Honestly, I’ve also heard that this year is going to be a very cold/ then very mild hot winter. I honestly wouldn’t do it because of the crazy temp change. How are you going to protect them?

If you're growing outdoors, what do you have to lose? A couple of seeds? I say, go for it!

I figured I’d just grow them in pots like my last ones and bring them in if the weather was going to be to chilly
That’s what I figured. I’m probably getting a grow tent in December, so by then I’ll be able to tell if any are males and move the rest indoors to finish out

I feel you. I’m one of those types that lives all plants and animals. I sometimes go to Walmart of other places and see a exotic or gorgeous plant not being treated right, and take it in. My wife is the worst about it. I just hate seeing a plant suffer is all.

Better than taking in cats!
I'm the same, every time I prune, I root the cuttings. Can't stand killing them so I put them outside. Sometimes in the yard, sometimes guerilla. Let nature take care of them....
