i just purchased a 500w blackstar led fixture the 3w chipset.... I'd like to know how far away from the plants the light has to be. I've heard that I'm also gunna have to add calcium and magnesium when i water....Tips from other led growers would be appreciated....
I'm actually doing this as an experiment I've grown with cfls all the way through, hps, and now i wanted to try the leds....i have been researching for a while there are some cases where the hps yield wise may out perform the led. I've also seen cases where experienced growers got the led to outperform the hps yield wise. Many people also say that taste and high wise the led is way better then the hps so i'm gunna get to the bottom of this myself.
