Have had 100% rooting with them but my bubba kush all seem to have the same deficiencies and I can’t figure out what the problem is. Little info first clone is 1.5 months old second is few weeks old. I monster cropped right out the gate. All clones grow well and healthy but my bubba kush. It has leaves getting brown rusty spots then they start to yellow
Veg under 4K led
3 gal smart pots
Water is 6.5 ph
Soil is Great Lakes water only soil
When I bought the soil I was told it is good for 8 grows start to finish with no problems and no added nutrients needed but I’m starting to think they lied to me.
  • Any help would be much appreciated

Someone lied to you, Okie. You need to feed. Check Google for cannabis deficiencies. There’s numerous guides with pictures of both deficiencies and excesses. Next grow by a bale of cheap peat moss, a bag of perlite (you can buy a huge 4’ sack at Lowes cheap), a small bag of lime (also at Lowes in garden supplies) and some Mykos WP. Mix it all up (except all the lime) and buy yourself some nutrients. General Hydroponics Flora series or Advanced Nutrients Jungle Juice are fine. And cheap. Buy a bottle of Cali Magic cal mag because it’s only 1-0-0 so low nitrogen. Grow top shelf bud.

what hotrod said, she needs some food asap... they'll prolly be fine in the soil they are in but they need food badly. NOBODY has come up with a soil to last 8 grows, ever. It's hard enough to get through one grow ADDING stuff to already loaded soil.

Ok thanks for your reply. I will definitely keep this in mind. I just picked up 10 bags of ocean forest to see if I have better luck with that. I have72 SSH that are going in soil tomorrow and I didn’t want to risk putting them into the soil I’m using.

Where you getting your supplies and advice in Oklahoma? Im in OKC
Folks, if you have never grown cannabis or hemp I urge you to use some of the many free BOOKS now available FREE online. The books. YouTube is dandy and all but the books have millions of readers who would have laughed them out of existence if the information was not good and professional. You’ll save yourselves a lot of time, money and frustration. Just a piece of advice from someone who actually had to buy it years ago. Free. Online.

So much this ^^^ if you want to sift through misinformation the interwebs has no shortage. Books are far more valuable and accurate to learn from. Then take that knowledge and swift through the new age stuff with the ability to sift out bullshit and pick out the small advances with an actual understanding of how things work.

Especially books by people like Ed Rosenthal. He’s not the only one certainly and there are growers who dislike his stuff. But the older books before so many “gee whiz” products came along. Keep it basic. Keep it simple. Harvest good bud. Stressed plants are asking for bugs or disease.

Your plants are FAR too large for the tiny cups you have them in.

They'll suck the nutrients out of that tiny bit of soil in a couple of days tops.

If soil is your medium, and you're not a nursery, always grow in the pot you're going to finish in.

In other words, the smallest pot you should use is 2.5 gallons in size. (Preferably 5 gallons)

It's much more forgiving and easier to maintain.
