New upcoming grow and could use some advice.

Hi all,

I'm about to start my second grow (check my first in my signature) and I'm changing a lot since the first one so I could use some advise.

I'll be growing in Biobizz Allmix soil in 4x25lt pots (around 7gal). Will be using 2x600W HPS in Adjust A Wing reflectors on digital ballasts above the plants and 1x400W MH in vertical in between the plants. The strains will be 2x Nirvana AK-48 and 2x G 13 Labs Pineapple Express. All seeds are feminized. My grow room is roughly 5sqm (60sqft) but the area utilized for growing is around 1.5sqm (16sqft) and 2.5m (8ft) high. It basically utilizes one edge of the room with 3 walls surrounding the plants covered in Mylar. Will try to keep the footprint at 1sqm (11sqft). The room is also equipped with 2 oscillating fans, an air supply fan and an exhaust fan plus carbon filter.

Now the questions are.

• What do you think of the setup?
• Will keeping the 400W MH for the flowering period too together with the 2x600W HPS make a difference? Spectrum wise I mean not for the extra lumen count.
• Any advice on feeding regarding those strains from someone that has worked with them before?
• How do those strains react to FIM? Again from someone with experience. Should I FIM or just LST?
• And lastly, my local growshop only supplies the following nutrients (of the popular brands that is):
  1. Biobizz
  2. Atami
  3. GHE
  4. Earth Juice
  Which one should I go for?

Basically the setup would be something like:

Where O=plants, I=600W and o=400W

Sounds great! I would put more than four plants in there! I have only used biobizz and earth juice nutrients and between the two I would use biobizz.

Thanks for the heads up mate, I would put more plants in there as well and I might end up doing so (I have 10seeds was planning to germ all and keep the winners), but I though to grow big plants this time, I do want to have some big ass colas in my resume As for the nutrients I was leaning towards those two choices myself from info I gathered around so it's good to hear the opinion of someone that has tried both!

I think youll get some killer colas with that setup and 7gal pots! I have ran both those strains and you will def find some winners esp the g13 pe!!! with those lights and obvious homework you have done youll be phat with buds in time!! you going to do a journal?

I sure as hell am going to make a journal. I always do and I enjoy it a lot. Just waiting for all the stuff to arrive and then put the room in place. I should be ready to go by September if not end of August so stay tuned!

Ya man with all that light and just 4 plants, they will be massive. I personally like the earth juice line because its extremely versitle in then you can put it straight into your water and go, or you can bubble it if your using hydro. I also like LST though I don't have experience with those strains. Good luck!

sounds like a nice setup i have only done lst buy im never gunna not use it not and as for nutes go for bio bizz there really good read alot of good things about them and simple to use...

it's in the list of my future grows already. I'm still trying strains but I was thinking SSH and JH for next

just waiting for post man to delivery my 50 ssh now and ive made a new list of seeds that i puchased yesterday the links on my profile mate have a look and tell me which ones are good to grow...
