I have one plant out of 15 that started having new veg growth on top of the 2 main colas at about week 5/6 into flowering. I have never seen this before and was curious if anyone has encountered this and if there is a way to prevent it. Is it genetics?
Anyone with knowledge about this phenomenon who is willing to share would be appreciated. Looking to learn here.

Week 7 WTF? this is just a top snip the rest of the bud beneath are frosty and swelling up nicely.
This photo is those buds but the top veg cut off.
