New way to communicate

Since there are so many rooms for discussion here its hard to know what all is going on. Now that I have set-up a Facebook page and email just for growers, im not really sure how its gonna work with other peoples friends and family that arent "in the circle" seeing things that they shouldnt. Any ideas?

The only thing I can think of is everyone that wants to do it needs to start a NEW FB page with NO info on which school you went to or anything so it dosent suggest friends you may know or anything like that. Lets be honest though, almost everyone here is a stoner (most lazy) and a lot of people might not wanna do that. Guess its up to people whether they wanna do it or not. I dont have any friends on there so far because I just started it.

Guess it just depends how dedicated people are to growing and secrecy.

Talking about Marijuana on Facebook is simply ignorant.

I am not a stoner (and resent you saying so) and definitely not lazy. Just because you do not contribute to society does not mean the rest of us do not.

In fact, just having your email and Facebook information in your signature is just more evidence when they come knocking on your door and seize your computer. I bet you even have RIU bookmarked. You would be an easy catch.

First off I didnt say everyone is lazy but not acknowledging that marijuana use lowers MOST peoples inhibitions is just ignorant also. Well kown fact, smoking pot makes a lot of people lazy. As far as the cops coming to seize my computer for doing something completely LEGAL in the state where I live for DISABLED people LIKE ME is a mind-blowingly stupid proposition. In fact the cops have been to my house 3x in the last month looking for someone that ditched parole. They saw, smelled and even commented on my plant so maybe lazyiness isnt what marijuana does to YOU, its obviously stupidity and paranoia.
Heres a final thought for ya, im legally disabled, I contributed more in the first 20 years of my life to society than you will in your lifetime and now CANT work so watch who the fuck your talking to like that lil boy!
If herb aint legal in your state you shouldnt be here on the forums anyway!

Having a discussion with a person of your mentality and mindset is futile, but hey, this is the internet...

If you are growing in the states you are not growing legally. At anytime the federal government can shut you down and put you in prison for however long they wish. They do not care if you are disabled or not. The tax money they get for putting you in prison is just as green as a non-disabled person.

I have never read any scientific papers that conclude that "Marijuana makes people lazy".

And lastly, saying that you have contributed more than me in anything is simply ignorant because you do not know anything about me.

Make a post on your new growers facebook page warning them that if they don't change their security settings, friends and family will see their posts in your page, along with any other random strangers. Take full advantage of facebook's privacy settings, I limit my info to only my friends, and still never post too much personal info.

mmmm kay. im worried that instead of the feds coming here to my area where people grow fields with hundreds of plants they are going to waste their time coming to seize 1 plant. Oh shit I better be paranoid.

First time I read this I wasn't sure what you were trying to say but I get it. Im all about privacy anyways. Ive already done my privacy settings, ill be sure to get there and do what you are talking about. I hope this isnt one of those things in life where one stupid person ruins it for the rest of us.

It is not about the quantity of Marijuana. It is about assets.

Let me spell it out for you...

The one plant you have, though if you were truly legal, you could have more than one plant, but that is not the point...the one plant you have gives authorities the right to take everything you own away. This could include, but not exclude, land, house, cars, boats, RV's, bikes, computers, furniture and everything in between.

Of course, if you have no material possessions, they can simply put you in prison and make more money off you from taxes just because of your one single plant.

It is not about being paranoid, its about being informed.

Dude you have watched too many drug movies. Not to say that I cant get busted for one plant if they REALLY wanted to waste their time and $ doing it, but trust me if you had the damn auto-immune disease that I have and were in horrible pain all day/ everyday like I am, getting arrested for one plant is not real high on my thought priority list. man, fuck the feds for one plant!

if someone has a better way of keeping in touch with each other than FB, im all ears. i would have done up a twitter page but you can see peoples twitter posts just by doing a google search with the right subject, ex: "growing pot in Colorado".

They would not be wasting their time putting people (you) with one plant away. It is just as profitable for them.

1ST QUESTION: I know im "off-topic" here but where can you buy un-sulfred molasses ? Is it just a grocery store average type thing or is it a specialty item you have to get somewhere like a gardening shop?

2ND QUESTION: Im growing in Dr. Earth soil and there is a recipe for molasses tea on the bag I was gonna try but it dosent say whether or not it matters if you put in on during veg, flower or pre-harvest. Im not doing it in a spray bottle, its just gonna end up being about a cup worth that you pour around the plant once a month, so it shouldnt matter when you do it as long as the HPS isnt on it right?

I am not worried about being busted at all. I am however, worried about the people who are actually ignorant enough to use Facebook as a tool to communicate about Marijuana and them getting busted and feeding the government machine.

And if you think getting "busted" for one plant and losing everything because of it is "piddly", you are on the wrong forum.

You just don't see it and I am afraid people with your mindset will never see it.

Again, good luck with your "new way to communicate" by using Facebook. I would give you advice on how you can secure your online interactions, but you do not even know how to browse Facebook with the built in secure features. You are just begging for attention form the wrong people as well as anyone who is foolish enough to join or even look at your Facebook page.

Re mollasess.. In the uk, most pharmacists/ health food shops stock black organic mollasess, unsulfered. I use it during flowering after week 1 or 2. Also used to flush growing in soil.

Also i think that unless you two arguees know each other and have history. Then your row is needless.

Oh, i didnt put some important info in that post about the molasses. I meant to put that for this recipe it says to do it every 30 days. Therefore, the threads you are talking about most likely arent going to help. This stuff isnt just for one or 2 time foliar feeding its for a whole life cycle type thing.
That info would probably help and I already know that there are a ton of posts about M but the questions that people seem to be asking are about making it or things like adding during the first week of flowering or pre-harvest. with this stuff, those post really didnt fit my criteria.
