Oh it's a series about NZ first drug cartel; mr asia and the exportation of the Thai weed.
Town water is Shiiiiet bro, all those treatment chemicals. I live rural too and have to use water clear to get the chlorine and what not out.

Yeah it'l be interesting to see how strong the Malawi gets, fuck smoking that after a long tolerance break!.
The Tashkenti started end of january so it's about a month or so in I think. Hopefully it hasn't rotted like the other plants in my area, I've honestly never seen budrot so bad before this early either!. Tis the season for sativas for sure. The dude I was talking to said the best Herb in africa was from the volcanic regions in Malawi; scary, trippy frightening high that only people who have smoked it can fathom the effects. Man I want this high.

Panama will probably have some proper bud sites by now and I reckon 2nd-3rd week of april of the weather is good. first week of april for the Tashkent and who knows with the Malawi.
Salvia can take you to new dimensions lol, anyone ever had Datura?! that takes some balls to take man I dunno if I could.
Think I might have to watch that, sounds interesting! Is it on you tube? Even rural you have to? Gahh crappy ae, rain water is good right? I got a old bucket thing I collect rain water in to water the garden thatl probably be better water then town water?

It would spin you out after a tolerance break, id be so keen to
So the Panamas in flower right? Is the Malawi flowering to? I think my harvest will be in mid April if I can push it that far, what do you reckon? Hopfully I can and the weather holds in a bit! Cant wait to see the panama red phenos thats awesome how you got two and all females. Datura sounds insane bro I dunno if Im bullsy enough for that shit lol

Do plants till grow alright on rainy days?

Hey Guys.

First season for me so ive got a few questions for yall.

I have attached some pics of 1 of mine and was wondering if anyone knew what strain it could be? Pretty much collected seeds throughout the year so no idea what it was from.

Also any idea how much longer untill it will be ready to harvest?

Thanks !View attachment 3007843View attachment 3007844
Looks tasty :weed: You in NZ? I don't have that much experience its my first season to, but I reckon it still has a fair bit left to go. Another few weeks? What does everyone else think.

You can hire it out at the video store in the tv series section, underbelly is a good watch bro - all true stories of high level Australian crims, aussie have some pretty loose dudes.
Yeah man it reads 200ppm and tastes like it's treated, such a massive difference between Ruahine mountain water and our water. Imagine how good the plants would respond to proper NZ mountain stream water!. without it I couldn't have walked up the mountain and back in a day on 4 crackers lol!. Rain water is algood.

Yeah the Panamas are fully into flower bro, easily grown in masterton imo. one amazing red pheno, another redish pheno and a green 1974 pheno I think.
Malawi is barely flowering, it'l be interesting to see if it finishes off properly. Can't wait to see yours in a month, you should have some decent dank buds by then. Who knows how this season will finish off, different every year.

Rintin - awesome pics. I'm expecting my indica plant to finish very early april, yours looks further into flower than mine bro. Possibly end of march?. The hairs will turn brown and you'll be able to see when it's finished, the leaves will turn yellow and the buds will have a 'coloured' look to them. Sometimes they turn purple from cold temps but you're in auckland so it might not.
watch for mold too bro, humid as up there. If you see any brown/soft patches on any buds, rip the plant out before you lose it. dense buds are susceptible to it.

LT, rainy days aren't that good for end of march onwards or whenever your plant is finishing off. I'm all for rain at the moment though.
The Malawis are gonna get so big man, Insane plants for a december grow. topped 3 times but it honestly does nothing to slow the height down, just makes it more monsterous.
I don't reckon they'll finish down there, I'm starting to doubt whether they will finish off or not. Last year definitely would have.

CK, f**k that trying datura, I know 2 ppl thatve done it and they've both ended up naked and think they can fly. 1 was a mate in greymouth stripped off put his gumboots on and went to the dairy came to 3 days later at his parents house and couldn't remember a thing, the other fella stripped off thought he was a kite and fell to his death!! need a good responsible minder if you ever want to do that stuff.

hows everyones ladies going? all flowering yet? haven't been to mine for ages was a spray chopper very close last week, too scared to see if theve been killed :(

budrot alredy ay? bugger you want to save what you can. you can get sprays that stop it in its tracks, vineyards use the stuff, got a 3week withhold though, spraying once now would get them through till april. bout 1000 per litre tho but you would only need 50ml to do 5 or 6 plants.

Yeah na I don't have the balls for datura, some people don't fully come back from that stuff, it's beyond hallucinations from the trip stories I've read. Sorry to hear about that dude dying, did you know him?.

My Panamas are into full force flower now, in the last week it looks like it's flowered for 2 weeks!. I reckon you could grow this down their dankdope.
Malawis are barely flowering, could have just shown sex and still be vegging. Spraying that blue shit?! hopefully they're ok man.

The budrot is out of it being this early, thankfully my plants are all good but those other fellas plants aren't! only his sativa dominant had none.
Never heard of that spray? sounds awesome. Does it leave any residue behind in the buds?.

mattskiBOP - your sativa will be massive by the time it finishes, that red indi looks like it will be pungent as. 2 of my Panama sativas have pink/red hairs.

Cooper12 - that's a big plant, probably the same as the Malawis(just over 7ft now). I can only just reach 8ft with my finger tips on my toes, im 6ft too and have long arms. Malawi are going to get over 10ft easily! shit they're going to take over everything!. 7-8 ft is a perfect size imo.

Anyone got any indoors going?

Aw algood Im gonna check it out! That uderbelly series is awesome I reckon. They're loose as fuck bro lol Yeah man mountain water kicks ass ae the Tararua water around here is amazing, when I go tramping I drink that shit all day.
The plants would be so good with that water!

Awesome man I might hit up the Panama to. I was thinking I may do a pure indica and pure sativa e.g Taskenti and panama they seem to have worked well for you
That Malawi is actually insane bro that its still not flowering I hope it finishes!
Imagine if you had put it out in October or November and handnt topped it!! You should do that one day and see how big you can get it hahaha
Hopefully we don't get to much rain towards the end of march I want mine to finish!

The heads are starting to smell really piney, fresh and have an amazing mango smell! A bit of resin in the caylexes to. I can see a few seeds forming but not to worry :-) Hmm the yellowing leaves are getting worse I might start a thread and see if anyone knows what it is?

hey letstrip, are the yellowing leaves on the older fan leaves or is it the newer growth? the plants will naturally start to yellow as they flower as long as they haven't had too much nitrogen, they'll start sucking the nutrients etc from the oldest leaves to sustain them through flowering. if its the newer growth there maybe something wrong, theres plenty of info on RUI on deficieny and disease, look I the other sections of the forum and you should be able to suss it out.

Yea the height of those sativas and the fact that they're barely flowering has me a little nervous but excited too. I'm starting to imagine getting my years supply just from a few plants. That'd be a dream considering this is my first real try at something like that.

The indys are slowly puttin on weight and lookin a little more red than fluro pink now. Aiming for end march~early april. Dried just in time for 4/20 j day!!!

Not too much smell from either... yet... I'm not sure about security of my spot in late flowering stages but whatever happens ill be stoked at the exp I've gained. Next year I'm aiming for trees.

I had another spot that has really good security but all my plants keep gettin eaten. I've got a feelin that possums are responsible. Anyone got experience with possum protection?

frisian is almost dry, looks like it might be 4-5 oz dried including some brown bud. kushberry probably has 4-6 weeks left but already smelling like HEAVEN lol. its gonna be soooo dank will get some pics up in a couple days

Hey yeah on the older fan leaves but its spreading to the newer growth I think. Thanks for the help I had a look, It might be N. I made a thread and put some info and pictures up check it out theirs pictures of the yellowing: https://www.rollitup.org/marijuana-plant-problems/804876-outdoors-yellowing-leaves-getting-worse.html

Yeah man it's algood, badness is one of the best ones and the golden mile.
Especially on a hot as day when you're dying from the heat and you stumble onto a freezing cold stream!, sucks about how there's so many polluted rivers in NZ now.

Yeah hit up the Panama for sure bro, you'll love it. I'm probably going to veg some mothers up from the 7 remaining seeds I have and put some proper clones in early.
Pretty fast for a pure sativa too, already has finger sized buds. Yeah get some landrace indis if you can too, Pakistani kush,Tashkent, Deep Chunk and X18 come to mind.
I reckon I could get the Malawi to 18ft+ if I had land to grow on. all I know is this plant has 5lb+ yielding potential not grown guerilla. topping barely slows the plant down man.
It would be 9ft easily if I didn't top it but it wouldn't be as bushy. I hate singular plants with only one main head and a few side branches - just not my style.

mango is always the goods bro, hope you get some kick ass smoke. lol you worrying about you 800mm annual rain while we have to worry about 1200mm and more as you go further north.
damn my thermometer read 7.3 last night!, shit that's 6 degrees colder than the airport!. it's usually warmer up here at night.

You'll have to be some sort of rasta to smoke multiple pounds a year, i'm sure you'll have enough for you and your mates lol.
Red hairs are awesome!, rarer than pink or purple hairs.

Have you seen the cages around my plants? just go to my photo album if you can't be bothered looking through the thread. make sure they're tied back to trees and branches for stability so they can't climb them. gotta watch out for little ganja roos too, starting to see some alligators and snakes in my area too... haha. na but being serious you can buy shit that keeps them away but it is usually expensive. Or you can get a silenced 22. and just shoot them but I dunno what you're situation is.

so many possums in my area.

sounds awesome bro, how far in is the kushberry?. Have you had blueberry before or knows what it smells like? unmistakable heavenly smell that you cannot forget and can instantly recognise it in any strain - someone growing in my area has a sativa that smells like a blueberry. might have to tax me a nug to smoke .

I'll try get some pics up in a couple days too, you can make a photo album and upload them there so you can upload enlarged pics if anyone was wondering how I do it.

i never really thought about it like this before now but i reckon i smoke down about a 1 lb a year. when you break it down a lb a year isnt that much. 1/3 an ounce a week unless my maths is wrong

crazykiwi420

Well-Known Member
Yeah true, I probably only smoke an ounce a month, more or less sometimes.

Oh yeah looks awesome aussie, I just ordered some bags off amazon. I have a shitload of trim and some early Malawi buds to make into hash.
Nothing like spotting hash when you're in the roar when it's pissing down for days, this shit is seriously strong for some. My afghani hash used to get people wasted.

Such clear days at the moment, best finishing off weather.

did i post a pic of my black/purple hash in here. man that stuff is good

this stuff came from one of the strains i tested for Gage Green. the strain was never released but it was pretty darn good, just goes to show how high there standards are over there

Its always been an aim to get a years personal from the outdoor season. Can't say I've managed it yet though lol. For the possums, depending on how often you visit your spot, taking a piss near your plant can def help keep things away..but you have to visit semi-regularly. Also if you know any hairdressers go in and grab a bag of hair and put around your area..makes the place stink of humans and possums/rabbits/dear will stay away. Hopefully your spots fairly secure. Absolutely gutting to look after your them all season only to come back to an empty plot. DOWNBUZZ! lol
