Oh wow. That's right, I have a journal LOL. Let's clear the cobwebs off this sucker. When we last left off I had no idea how good the BC Roadkill and Sweet God were going to be. Well I'm phasing out all of my previous strains in favor of these if that tells you anything. The BC Roadkill turned out the best IMO. Not only is it an eyecatching purple color but the taste is my favorite of anything I grow. Very strong musty, kushy, coffee flavor and smell - I love it.

The Sweet God is very citrussy and tropical with a very strong lemony smell. VERY potent.

I've also got a couple of monster Bubblicious going.

But as I said I'm phasing out these Nirvana strains for the most part. I might keep one plant of each going for variety's sake but the newer strains are in another league. Hopefully User stops by so I can tell him how I now fully appreciate why I should have went with Cannacopia so many months ago instead of Nirvana LOL.

Thanks man. Nice avatar LOL. I doubt Jock Horror is really that similar to Jack Herer. It costs $30 for ten beans! Nirvana uses it's own Super Skunk instead of Skunk#1 for the cross. I'm the sure the other genetic contributions are suspect as well. It's a high yielder for sure with an energetic high but I'm just finding out :dunce: that there's way better shit out there.

That good huh?

Next to the BC Roadkill and Sweet God the Nirvana stuff seems like midgrade. The Nirvana stuff looks pretty but the proof is in the pudding... or in the pipe I should say LOL. The flavor, aroma, and high of the Cannacopia stuff is far and away more powerful than the Nirvana. I should also mention that Tet sent me a third strain, but it's not Cannacopia... Bubba Kush:eyesmoke: I'm only half way through flower on my first of those but the smell is already very promising.

Haha they're 7ish weeks. As to how I get them like that, here goes. My medium is a coco coir and worm casting mix. For those plants I am using 1 gallon (yes, you read that correctly - 3.79 L) pots. I am experimenting with smaller and smaller pot sizes and it does not seem to matter in coco. I'm currently flowering some other plants in 1/2 gallon pots with no problems with "root binding" so far. The Bubblicious in question are both about 42 inches tall. They're being flowered under a 600 watt HPS (with way too many other plants - they could have been a lot bigger). Nutes are AN Monkey Juice, AN Big Bud, Ionic Boost, Botanicare Calmag and Liquid Karma. I cut off lower branches depending on how crowded things are and these got chopped about 1/3 up from the bottom (5 nodes). Temps average about 80F. Um.. I think that's about all you need.

Vey nice, that extra 200w seems to do the business from reading the journals ive read.
Dude, how expensive is it to run your plants like you do with all the nutes and stuff?....Also with the coco coir and small pots how often do you water them?
They are stunning though i must admit,if you ever saw rasclots journal on the jamaican lambsbread they look pretty similar to his monster :)

I've always had Bubblicious on my short list. Taste accounts for a lot around here and I've seen a lot of praise go the way of that sweet pink bubblegum pheno.

I never thought pink bud was a possibility until I saw Afghanica's pink (/black/purple/blue) variegated Vanilluna (inbred Blueberry) over on IC. Then I think to myself... shit Bubblicious is made from like what?...... Blueberry, Bubblegum, and Northern Lights..... why shouldn't there be crazy shit hiding in a couple packs of Nirvana gear?

Very interesting. I've actually been trying to find what the genetic background is for the Bubblelicious. I looked at Nirvana's description and realized I've been spelling Bubblelicious wrong this whole time but that was about it. It doesn't say what was used to make it. I know the Jock Horror is Haze/Skunk/NL and I also have Nirvana Super Skunk. What is interesting is that all three Nirvana strains I have smell exactly the same at mid-flower. A very sweet, juicy-fruit type of smell. As the buds mature the Jock Horror will get a citrussy sourness added to the juicy fruit smell. The Bubblelicious gets a funky stank almost like dog shit. The Super Skunk keeps the same juicy fruit smell all the way through harvest. So I had figured that Jock Horror and Bubblelicious both had Super Skunk as one of their parent strains. Maybe it's the NL? IDK because the only NL I've had was pretty musty-smelling.

And it's funny you mention pink phenos. Tet got some beans of this same strain and got BRIGHT pink and purple buds. I've gone through three different females - all green:-? But I was able to actually sample his pink buds and I think they taste just like my green ones. As I said before they have a funk about them like sweet dog shit. The taste is very sweet and a little skunky with a distinct bubblegum aftertaste. The stone is pretty heavy and usually makes me sleepy. It's a great bedtime smoke. Of the three Nirvana strains I have this is definitely the funkiest smelling and when you open the curing jar the poo poo stank fills the room LOL.

Not sure what exactly you mean by how expensive it is to run. I think the Monkey Juice is around $20 for a liter each of A&B. The Big Bud I buy by the gallon at $124:neutral: Ionic Boost is only $38 a gallon:blsmoke: I thought in the 1/2 gallon pots I would be having to water all the time but so far it's been every other day through 4 weeks of flower with some plants starting to need water every day. Looks like it will be every day from here on on. Plants in 1 gallon pots can go 3 or 4 days in early flower and 2 or 3 days in late flower. Keep in mind I use no perlite due mostly to the fact that I don't want to be watering these small pots three times a day.

I keep my ppms on the low side, maxing out at 1600 on the .7 scale during mid flower. If you want to see my ppm schedule go to this link. Change it to "medium feeding" on the pull down menu and look at the graph. That's exactly what I do. http://www.advancednutrients.com/nutcalc3public/
