Newbie setup

High all! Just wanted to share my setup and few babies. Going to be posting updates on my grow and always appreciate hearing people’s thoughts and ideas. New to growing and to the forum. Setup is as follows:

Mars Hydro 1000 x2 (150w each) in veg (custom tent built above large desk)

California Lightworks Solarextreme1000 x2 with uvb in flower (remainder of room)

Setting up scrog in 4x8 area.

Temps, humidity, co2 controlled.

Looking great. I have the same light... it's awesome. But honestly, it's awful bright for a 4x4 tent and I've had some light burn (bleaching) on my tallest buds. I keep mine at the very top of my tent all the time, even with tiny seedlings growing. It's a super bright light. Raising it up keeps tent temps down, too... esp during summer. That light has plenty of power and it's fine to raise it up higher.

Thanks for the replies! I appreciate your input on my flowering lights, I’ll plan on raising them up prior to moving plants to that area to finish up veg and fill the screen before switching over to 12/12. They put out 2200 BTU a piece while on, so I added a 6000 Btu ac to the room for heat control in the summer.

Oh and I won’t be using a tent for the flower area, I’m hoping this helps keep temps in check with those lights running. I will be running fans over and through the scrog for good airflow as well, as I know these lights are a bit crazy.
