Hi growers,

I have a room 11' by 10' - 8" venting fan exhaust room stays at about 74 to 80 degrees humidity is 60 to 65% that can't change its the area where we live (open the door and it would all be back to this high. I have a VIPARSPECTRA Reflector-Series V600 600W LED currently, it's pretty good. I would like to add or completely change to a COB led grow light. I have a small budget but would like to get a cob to grow light. My Budget is up to $200.00 tops prefer to spend less is possible but want to expand our growing area. I have looked and read & reviewed at many but I could use some help in whats good. I at the end of my 1st grow whew. We are sick both of us. We do because of pain we are at our limits of medical pain relief. Can anyone recommend some good cob grow lights. (better cob types) I do know they are using less energy I am trying to learn as fast as possible. Everywhere you look reviews are all over the place online. I am not that up-to-date on pars - or really on the cob types, whats really good and what is untruths. I appreciate any help and thank you in advance.

Keep your grow on

You came to a the right place. Opinions certainly vary and there can arguing, but there is a huge amount of knowledge here.

30 watts/square foot is recommended for good LED. To be honest, I can't see how your current light is anywhere enough for 110 square feet. How did it go on you first grow? I think you need to reduce the area and or consider CMH/HPS. $200 can buy enough good LED for about a 3x3 area. If it's an option, DIY will reduce costs. Hang in there, and we'll get you to a better situation.

This has helped me immensely. I am learning its similar to building an old pc or solar panels the learning site is extremely helpful. You were right I came to the right place! A super thank you, you were very helpful. Without the chart's explained it would have a much harder road to start to catch on. I am excited to save up and get to make one in six months or so. I wish I have someone local that made them so my first would be easier to watch them build and tackle my first one.
