where to start...haha

depending on how many plants u have, I would use 3, cool white 6500k cfls per plant....get some quality nutes for the 3rd week, thats usually when u should start feeding a low dose 1\4 strength. I use General Hydroponics maxigro for veg and maxibloom for flower.

when u being to flower u will need wayyy mmore light.... i have 15 warm white 2700k cfl for flower and then upgraded to a 250w hps and noticed wayyy more growth.

water every few days depending on soil dryness. good way to check is to use the finger method where u stick ur finger 2 in down and if it still fills damp then let it go for a day or 2 before watering again. Feed only once a week.

Yeah, I agree with sunny. You need to definitely make some improvements or it just won't work.

Did I mention lights? you really should invest on a couple of cfl's for starters. place them as close as possible to your plants , NO FOIL!. it just makes hot spots. white paper works better for reflecting light, Mylar is best.
get a fan in there to strengthen stems to hold up those fat buds later! keep humidity around 60-70% temp around 80 F you shoukld do fine. post some pice, it helps...

fish tank lights suck, even those 'gro' lights don't use them the color spectrum is wrong for pot plants they also get way too hot.

this is by far the cheapest setup I'd ever made! it consists of 3 4 foot flourescent fixtures with a box fan and a dehumidifier (it's an unheated basement closet so the dehumidifier dries the room and its exhaust (75 degrees f) heats the room at same time. so room is 75 deg. f and about 50% humidity i am growing 16 plants am just into my 11th day of flowering. so yeah it works, just takes a little longer due to the cheap kights I have.
So, lights should be your first major investment, without lights they don;'t grow, this should be your first priority

here ya' go forgot all about them this is a way cheap setup. total costs (the lights are off my basement ceiling so were free) are $25 (dehumidifier was free, too) for a box fan, some extensions and a timer. Throw in $10/month for my gorilla c02 setup and about $5 for fertx/nutes, that's it. I spend about $10/month total for fertz, sugar and yeast!
