I don't see the big deal with internet only registration, there are libraries for those with no computer. I even use my local library at times and when I travel I log in as a guest. Don't always take my own computer along. I found the staff at most libraries very helpful

What they should really do thou is stop dillydallying along and just legalize weed in Michigan, ha ha, Right now its if you got enough time and money to see enough doctors, you can be legal.....go on a bad date and almost got raped, ah you got PTSD and MM might help you. Went to jail for whatever, yep I could see how some folks could have PTSD....then all us middle agers likely have enough pain issues to see if MM would help us.

The main thing holding folks back I believe is drug testing for their job or mis truths they might have about weed..oh yeah and the few hundred bucks to get legal and transportation to the doctors and clinics. That medical record requirement was just to drive up the cost for the people..its a joke that somebody could be missing a body limb yet they still need to show medical records that they have a pain problem.

I would also like to know why it cost so much, $100 or even $60 for two years is a lot. My drivers license thats good for 4 years, cost like $15.

If anything it should be free in a way. Its like a health care expense, we need weed to feel better. What other drug do you have to pay a fee in order to use the drug ? There is no other drug that I can think of.

I don't see the big deal with internet only registration...

It will be much easier to track everyone with electronic registration......

Who what where and anything else....
Just the first step in TOTAL regulation imo-

easier to do compliance checks and the marijuana enforcement division can visit unsuspecting farmers/cg/pts when they want and collect their tax/extortion

or bust their ballz-

tighten up the 'radar' so to speak

--you can thro out the 'no one has access bS'....
but i ain't buyin it-

now they wanna put the lists were all on......online
more 'user friendly' if you ask me

easier to access imo-

hell if your in a county and they wanna find you now they will be able to go online and see everyone-connected to the registry

mayb no one thought of that since the comments are its such a good idea--jm2c

I too was uneasy about signing up for MM but then when Obama was re elected and he was not butting in to stop legal weed sales in Colorado, well, that was the tipping point to me.

Our names are already in the system, law enforcement out of state can check and see if your name is on the MM list. Haven't you heard all most all phone calls are now recorded by the NSA, its true. how in depth, who knows. I tell you what, I don't believe in "butt dialing" 911.....you know those big busts when the people just happen to butt dial 911 right after they just made a big score and the cops catch them red handed by responding to the so called 911 call. Nope, I believe phone calls were tracked and 911 was called by whom ever was tracking them. The local fuzz is left out of it, they just respond to the 911 call and "get lucky" and make a big bust and the bust is legal since they were to call 911 themselves its claimed..

I've thought that for over 5 years now, long before NSA came into the news, I'm just certain now I'm correct, ha ha.Yeah some butt dial calls might in fact happen but those big busts butt dail 911 calls, nope, makes more sense to me that they were being spied on, maybe illegally and butt dialing 911 makes the bust legal when it really should not have been

This is what I found interesting (“It’s kind of a tricky balance there. What we want to do is put the bad players out. We want to get legislation that eliminates or reduces their activity significantly,” Richardville told reporters on Wednesday.) who are they talking about?Who is a bad player?

I have a family member who works for lara mmmp I've heard numerous times of msp ect trying to get fake cards to bust people or info and it's a no go without a warrant of any kind it's quite funny listening to the stories.

I had a Canada cop ask me if I smoke M recreationaly, after they look around in my car and trunk, I mumble back, medical, I'm medical... long story short, that MM response nip it in the bud, the odor was explained, officer seemed upset but another officer then handle me and after a bit I was on my way again...and I never showed my MM card..they never asked to see it but i bet dam well it was verified.

"where do U smoke M at, the officer shouted.....me, in my home.......U ever smoke M in the car, me, nope....well there this odor...me, just shakes head not knowing what to say...U have any M on U or in your car, me, nope...got asked like 5 times if I ever smoke M in the car...I guess thats what they try to say if they smell anything...smoking bud in the car is crazy, I never ever do it and I was sent on my way without too much fuss but boy, that one officer did not seem too happy..others seemed OK with me.

I gotta stop keeping my luggage where I smoke bud in my house but nah, I'm legal, ha ha ( thats must have been what happen , they sniffed my luggage bag and I had kept weed in the past inside it when I go on vacation in the state but when I travel outside the state, I have nothing on me at all

Oh well, live and learn......my guess is if Canada cops can find out, any cop in the state sure can..so keep that bud inside the trunk at all times
