Next Purp Kush n Alpha GROW

so i have a grow goin on as i speak. and this is the next round. they were cut on 7/6/09 and i just moved them to the veggin buckets. i lost a total of four out of my 16 cutting. due to two dieing for i ono why i think mold cuz i saw white mold at the base. 1 dieing from the same thing i guess but dont see any mold. and the last one from my dog jake in the avatar , or the girl coco.

so i have 12 left. just will have to do. i have started to supercropp a few and also i have fimed a few. i want to see the difference in bushyness. if the fiming will do a good job n filling out i may slow down on the supercroping. i am running out of nutes right now so i didnt make the mixes in the buckets full strenght i only mixed for 3 gallons in 5 gallons of water. so its diluted a bit. so heres some pics of them gettin started till now. enjoy.

ok so its been 2 1/2 weeks. for an update i have been supercropping all the plants to get to size i like n keep em short with lots of heads. they are responding well and deffinately growin. last week i noticed that i had these little black spots all over this lower leaf on one of the alphas. i took it off and eye fucked it with the 420 scope. while i was lookin at these spots i saw a fucking bug run past my veiw. what the heck!!!

ok so it looked as if it had 4 legs n 2 antennas. i looked for picture to compare it too but dam i couldnt find anything.

tonight i was lookin again at the leaves n found a few more leaves that had spots on them . definatley wayyyy less . i could barley tell they were there. pulled the leafs off anyways this is veg for god sakes.

while i was doin this i actually could see a few little black bugs this time . i mean when they were small they were just clearish whitish with black insides since i could practicaly see through them. now they have grown up. was like whoa it looks like it has wings.

pulled out a magazine and looked at the bug pictures and i have Thrips. little flying bugs.

does anyone know what they extent of damage they do and what i can do to kill them cuz they were in the destructive bug pictures. i wish my baby preyin mantis would eat them for me! yea i found a baby mantis n my house n thought itd be cool to throw him in there. so thats his new home check out the pics and let me know what you gusy think thanks!!

So I was gunna get some pirate bugs or lady beatles or somethin. Buit my grow shop said its kinda outa season. So. They asked me bout my grow a little bit told em I had thrips n he recommended an commercial pesticide and hed let me try it out for cheap. Its called avid. And u have to apply it in the dark when u at least have 6 more hours till the lights turn on. And he said that u only apply once every 40 days. I'm not sure about everything cuz the internet application directions said some different stuff but I tried it this mornin I turned the lights off n sprayed it. Hopefulu I didn't fuck them or anything. Well see if it gets rid of them.

For everyones info that bug spray shit worked like a charm and all I did is use it that one time.

Its time to transfer to the flower room my 4 purple kushes but I have to wait. I harvested my last round last saturday. I wouldve moved them that weekend to start there flower but I broke my leg on the 6th and its pretty bad and I can't get to them to do any maintenance by myself. But they were lookin great before I broke my leg. Now they got crazy tall n ran outa water n shriveled up. So I cut em in half (literally) last night filled up there nutes so hopefully they stay nice n shocked for at 3 days. Then after I have my surgery on the 22 I can clean up the flower room n throw my pk's in there to start their cycle. But thatll be a week or two till I hope I can at least walk. Till then guys wish me luck on my surgery n that my babies grow n reover slow so they'll be n good shape for the next phase. Thanks.

so heres the news . on thursday the 8th i moved 3 pk's to the flower room by themselves. i want a perpetual harvest everymonth pk then alpha then pk. so in four weeks ill moved the 5 alphas i have to flower. i also took 15 babies off my 5 alphas to help cut them down and to replenish my baby cycle . i took my old babies that are pk and moved them to the buckets theyll be in for the next two months. dont feel like puttin pics up right now . i mean there aint even any bud porn so lol naw.
