just wondering have any of you guys used this system. what i read it says suitable for one to three plants. and takes twenty litres of water. a friend of mines says he grew one big plant in one and had 9 ounces off it. under a 400w hps is that possible as he said he only vegged the plant for four weeks then put it straight into flower. how do you think two of these systems under a 600w hps would do in a 1.2x1.2x2m tent with one plant in each.

Best ive smoked in a while was grown w/ rockwool in ntf; 2 of those systems should do fine in 1.2x1.2, change out res often though its small. Id put 3 plants in each drastically lowering veg time. 9oz from 400 watt is acceptable yields at .6 GPW but not a big harvest by any means. Ive pulled 1lb from 1 plant under 400 watt light before, that was a big yield.

i'd recommend 1 plant per unit.
you are gonna be filling that up daily when the plant gets big. and controlling pH will be a challenge.

It doesnt matter if its 1 or 3 plants, it will end up as the same amount of biomass if the OP is doing it right. Meaning 1 or 3 plants will drink the same amount in that space under a 600 once its filled in. The res is small, it will be an issue regardless.
For years I grew 6 plants per 4'x4' it works fine; it will cut 2 or more weeks off veg going with 6 instead of 4 plants in there.
If you are a newer grower id expect 1/2-1lb of solid bud from a 600watt light; number of plants is irrelevant that only matters for veg time and setup. an experienced grower would get 1-2lbs from that setup; these numbers are without CO2 supplementation
thank you very much for the reply's from the top of the tank to the top of the light im going to have about 5ft in the tent so when im set up i be asking a few more questions like how long should i veg for before putting them into flower. i will top them and bend the branches to get a knuckle in them to try and keep them short. in order to get a good root mass before putting them into flower
