Thanks for turning off the light.
Hopefully you'll get everything dialed in SOONER then later..
Are you on the ground floor? If yes do you have a cool/cold crawlspace or basement? If you do you could pump some lines coiled up down there to cool your nutes. Just a thought
Unfortunately not @farmerfischer just turned my fan on to setting 2 (a little loud and not ideal) tee'd off in to my reservoir will be checking om temps again tonight if i can get a steady 22°c even 23°c i will be hapy with that i dont think I will get many root issues with that temp??. Plus once plants grow and canopy geylts bigger will hopefully stop rez heating up as much, unfortunately when buying all my equipment and setup I forgot and didn't really take into account a water chiller :???:.if my room temp stays below 28°c and my rez below 24°c im hopefull that i should do ok with these plants would you agree or do you think I will still have issues?.. Thanx man

I'm not sure if a full canopy will lower it much if at all. I would try insulating the res with Styrofoam or something to slow the heat down from getting in. The res will warm up regardless of direct light heating the table. What's the temp at lights out in the room. If your room is cool at night . then insulation on the res should help slow it from warming as fast. I've only done an nft once with tomatoes in a down spouts for rain gutters . and I was having issues because I was out doors with my system and the Sun kept cooking my plants but the roots even in 80°f nute water the roots were fine... . again that was tomatoes though. I'm goin to have to look back in your journal. But do you have your tables covered to reflect the light off .

Well the plants look fine apart from the small nute burn on the coffee ryders and I have 1 LSD25 that is growing fine but the leaves are very light green more yellow any ideas on that rest of the lsd25 are green and so are other plants?? rez temp still high but roots running down the tray look very healthy with plenty shooting off nice and white upped feed today EC now 4.1 not sure wetha to top or start lightly bending plants over some still on the small side so wudnt be able to do all.
Room temp 29°c bit high but comfortable in ther
Max 29°c
Min 19°c
EC 4.1
Il try for a few pictures at lights out... Thanx

Having one or two seedlings lag behind is normal... Not all seeds are created equal..
Seedlings stage makes me more nervous than any other part of the grow..After 3 weeks all is well..

Yeah thats what I thought. the coffe ryders are still very small and barely growing I think/hope its just the type of plant they are..I hate seedling stage in regs or fems but dammmm autos are bitches another week or so they should be out the woods so to speak and away ...few pictures of the girls getting big ..well big...ishhhh ha.20161028_110211.jpg 20161028_110227.jpg 20161028_110334.jpg 20161028_110320.jpg

You're plants are making me second guess my decision to try organic soil.. I've been running Dwc for the last ten years and wanted to see about the organic tastes better thing.. I already do an organic Veggy garden so not much of a learning curve... but I am trying cob leds as well, so all new lighting with soil in a tent... your plants are growing well! You've been busy in there looks good!

I got sick of soil and perlite (messy and a hassel) and wanted a change,I have grown in a Wilma system a few year ago and had very good results and the best smoke I've ever grown taste and strength wise and also yield which was kaya gold (nirvana seeds i think) and grown in a tent setup so decided to try the hydroponics route again but this time in a room.. I nearly went with DWC this time round but liked The look of NFT and thought I'd try it out was something different.i will be doing DWC 12pot once this run is finished. I have only ever grown with HPS and think I will stick to them not sure on led's.

I have just taped some of the plants down a type of lst'n for now not sure if it will do much but wanted to start as early as possible with the bending like I said ive never done it before so a little clueless but have seen a few vids I just don't want to hinder there growth or set them back weeks but want to try and get as much bud to cure as possible.

For anyone who might see this am I going to run in to any major problems or stunt in growth if my reservoir temperature is 26.8°c (80degF) and my tray run down the roots is 26° (79degF). Checked all the roots running down spreader Matt and out of the rockwool cubes and they are healthy white I'm just starting to worry now in case its going to become a problem!! I've read abit and some people are saying it will be fine others saying it won't . Anyone offer any advice?

Do you use peroxide or is there chlorine in your water?... I think as your roots grow the temps will affect them more..
But Nft may be different than dwc.... I got root rot at 78f.. so Idk...

I don't use peroxide mate and I have no idea if there is chlorine in my water ...as for the different systems DWC NFT I also don't no if there will be any difference. Mabie so with the water constantly flowing down the roots in the NFT and not sitting in the water like the DWC. That might make a difference?.

That being the only difference, I'm thinking Nft may be able to handle a little higher temps... flowing water
should do better than standing water.. I think?

Thas what I'm thinking, I done some more covering if the reservoir and have dropped temps to 24.3°C from 26.8°C if I can keep it a that then I'm just going to hope that will be ok and room temp sits at 28°c they seem to be growing steadily apart from 1GSC which sprouted with only one leave thats struggling 1LSD that seems slower than her sisters and all 3coffee Ryder's are still very small. Little bit mute burn here and there but nothing major EC at 0.52 PH 5.7

Yea those little ones aren't too flexible... you just topped it, everything underneath will grow up...
I top at the fourth node and remove the lower growth giving me 4 tops..
let them grow and Lst making them grow laterally.. top all again after the fourth node and you have 32 tops..
They don't all grow evenly so a few get removed.... best method I've used to really produce..
Takes a longer veg time but well worth it....

They look good, seem to like warm water.. hydro is so much faster! sigh..

Not flexible at all barely toucht it ha softys!!. Yeah it was a MAJOR topping but it should work out in as it was the OG that sprouted with 3 leaves so under the top their was 3 heads so now they should al grow up now just don't want to stress them, think I'll top one or 2 more and leave rest natural... I would normally top my femanised plants as they hav time to recover and can be veg'd for longer but with autos I worry I myt do more bad than good. Time will tell... Your grow room must get pretty full of some serious heads .niiice!. Yeah I can't believe the growth within a day crazy how quick they come on and look ok still bit nute burn but they don't look to bad especially with the temp situation but overall I'm very pleased and happy with how the NFT system is working glad I went hydro ha.:peace:

Did you add more nutes? What's rez temps? They definitely didn't like something...Is the new growth still green?
How are the roots looking?
