NFTG. Nectar For The Gods

Ugh thanks. The male is probably about 100 yards away from the female in a whole different part of the woods is it possible it didn’t get pollinated?

Yo @IrieRoots i slurried with my new meter my soil ph is 6.1 in almost all plants 350ppm. Feeding 1600ppm every other day at 6.7. Should i keep feeding at 6.7 or do a gaia and herc flush at 7.0?
I'd roll with the 7.0 Gaia/Herc reset and use less volume than normal so pots dry out faster, may want to do back to back reset flushes and follow up with 6.8 feeds.

Does the herc react with the gaia? I gave them 2 tbsp of gaia per gallon check ppm it was like 300 so i threw in 2 more tbsp and it was 700 then i ph and checked ppm again and it was down to 450...

Oly up does that to my feeds when I need to use a lot to hit mid 6's..........but Herc has never done it

Yes it took a lot of oly up! All i used was herc and gaia so it knocked my water pretty low took a bunch of oly to get it to 7.0.

Trellised up ready to flip. Feeling better about my numbers coming in on my slurry test, which is a relief because I really need to get these flowering due to aggressive growth. They are at a good point to flip.

Thats a good thing on the oly!! Should help raise it up in the soil. They look good though. I mentioned FULLON recently because of how efficient it makes nutes uptake so it pairs well with the Gaia flushes.

I have been looking into fullon as a mineral supplement for RO water, I am curious what other Nectar users use for RO remineralizing if anything?

I know some use 1-2 ml of fullon, others use MagAMPED, but I mostly see growers end up finding the right dilution rate with Demeters for their grows. I've definitely found leaning on Demeters harder has only benefited my garden. I don't run RO, filtered tap, but I run LED's and find Demeters to be the easiest way to manage my feeds and control any cal or mag hungry plants. Full-on requires a little more dialing as it does what it advertises-- fast efficient uptake and can cut a week off finishing, so adjustments must be made with feeds, especially towards ripening. I do like fullon though, just use it as a foliar in veg when building plant health and will use in heavy flushes and once when I start to ripen.

good as a remineralizing for RO , Root drench is good just gotta watch what strength you feed , foliar another good way (BRIX) up , as a flush of course , pick your poison ..I use fish sh!t at the end with others (ripening flush ) .... here the after math of the monster (roots ) here another pic of the latest grow using hodge podge of amended soil and a fresh just used 5 gallons not even amended just mix in with amended soil ....

I am running 2 plants with 50/50 coco pearlite no amendments, would Demeter’s work still or would I need to supplement mag? coco would be a source of mag for Demeter’s but not sure if it would be enough as far as how long the process would take?

Omg!!! To anybody new who stumbles into this thread learn from my mistakes lol. I didnt clean my ph meter or soak it for 24 hours in kcl. When the check mark would go away i would just calibrate it and that was it. Long story short this whole time my soil ph was perfect :wall:. I soaked my meter for 24 hours in kcl and cleaned it. I slurried every single plant all of my soil is 6.7-6.8.

It been racking my brain cause we had you in a good place to flip and you been staying up on everything, the plants even looked good!! That's why a weekly slurry is so important, sometimes you can catch a problem before the plant is showing any tell tale signs. But it takes good readings to make the right moves, I'm glad you got it ironed out Loop. At least now you have a loaded up soil with a nice limestone buffer for the rest of your bloom feeds!!

Demeters will definitely work, its just some strains want more mag in the beginning before the chelation is happening from Demeters so growers use MagAMPED or epsom. Some strains do just fine and don't need any supplemental mag. Medusa has .5 - 1% mag and that should be fine to carry the load until Demeters does it's thing. It's one of those strain dependant things!!
