well transplanting isn't the greatest on them but by cutting the bottom out of the pot your not transplanting it so the stress should be minimal...

Lol. Thanks. I have a feeling she will be female. She's been growing really fast lately. She's probably grown a few inches in the last couple nights. Gonna transplant her into a bigger pot on Monday or Tuesday. Still no signs if sex yet tho. But like I said. That's probably a good thing since males usually show 1st. I am hoping that by Tuesday I will be able to sex Mystery.

Mary J has more and more white hairs poppin out everywhere. Gotta figure out what to do with the lights tho. Cuz she's growing too wide wayyy too fast. She still has at least another 6-8 weeks to grow. And I'm already runnin low on space. She just won't stop growing!! Lol. I'm thinking about just having all the lights facing down. Instead if being at a 90 degree angle. Maybe that way the plant will try growing UP instead of out to the try and reach the side.

Just an idea. And the clones turning yellow again. Soooo fuck it. Abd no sign of life from the seedling. Buy it's only been a couple days. Soo I wasn't expecting any. I'll update with pics on Monday or Tuesday.

Hey guys. ok. Well 1st off, I threw out the clone.. it just wasnt looking good. The whole thing was yellow, and drooping really badly. Before I threw it out, I checked to see if any roots were starting.. and there wasnt anything. So I just said fuck it. I'll attempt to take snother clone off of the "Poly Branch" soon.

No signs of life yet from the seedling, but it still has only been a few days, so I'm not too worried.

Mary-J is looking great, as usual. New white hairs keep popping up all over her. She hasn't grown too much as far as height or width. Not sure if it's because of the pot size? Or if she's just focusing more on getting ready to start budding. I'm not too worried about it. She looks happy and healthy.

Mystery on the other hand... She is growing a lot. Everyday I go to check on her, she's grown about an inch or more everyday. =) Still no sign of sex.. but towards the VERY top of her, I pulled back the leaves, and I see something that looks like a calaxe without any hairs coming out. But I'm hoping that some hairs do come put of there within the next couple days!

I'm getting ready to go to K-Mart. Gonna check out what they have out for Planting Supplies. Gonna grab another bag of soil, some more peat pellets, and maybe a 5 gallon pot.

I was gonna put up some new pics today. But I want to get in the habit of posting them up on Tuesdays, since thats the day I started flowering. And it seems pointless to put up pics 2 days in a row don't cha think? So from now on I will do updates on Tuesdays's.. and of course a couple more days during the week. Can't keep you guys guessing hows she's looking for more than 3 days. lol. But of course.. if Mystery decides to flash me.. I will let you guys know if she's male or female. lol And if the seeds shows any sign of life, I will also let you know. =)

Also... I was looking at HTGSupply again.. and really looking into buying the 150 watt HPS.. theres too there for roughly the same price.. one is like $66 and the other is $69. With shipping, theyre $82 and $85, or somewhere around there. If i put $40 away for the next 2 weeks, I could easily buy it... But I'm not sure yet. Just a thought.

i'd go for the hps mary j will reward u with nice bit tit's lmao and i'm start to think that u may actully get that one to two ounce that most everyone said u would i know that 's what i guessed and am crossing my fingers that u will and maybe slide a bud under the table my way lmao jk u got to savour and enjoy ure first few plant's i know i did lol no no it's all mine my buddy's were mad but they got over it lol.

I usually have a pretty easy time navigating around the HTGSupply website.. it just suxks cuz certain things they have the picures and links for.. but then you go to click them.. and they dont have any of them. lol. kind of a letdown.

I am hoping to get the HPS light tho.. just a matter of wether or not I can save the money up for 2 weeks.. I have a habit of spending ALL of my money before I get my next check.. lol. Needa work on that

And I'm updating with pics today. =) I'll have full updates on both plants, and any updates on the seed I planted.... if there is anything to update on. =/ I'm hoping the seed shows some sign of life within the nexct couple days.. if it doesnt show any life by tomorow.... then I will be nerbous. =/ We'll see when I get home if anything has changed..

Alrighty Guys.. gettin ready to take some pics soon. in like 15 min. Gonna transplant Mystery, since roots are comin through the bottom.. adn shes growin pretty fast.. and im gonna cut the bottom of Mary J's pot off, and add another pot underneath her to give her more root to grow.. Im gonna try for a little more than 1/2 the pot, which will equal around 5 gallons. And I will update on the seed I planted... be back soooon! With pics!

OK.. I got a quick question for u guys.. not sure if anyone will be able to answer me in time.. cuz Ihave the plants out now getting ready to transplant them.. and with Mary-J.. there is one pot that is a little bit bigger than the pot Im using now.. not by much at all.. but when I placed the pot in there.. to see if it would be big enough.... it goes all the way to the bottom.. becuase the empty pot is bigger.. and soo if i fill that pot up 1/2way with soil... there will be about a 1/2 inch or less of space all around the bottom of the pot..... is that OK?? idk if I'm explaining it right.. but pretyt much.. if i put Mary-J and her pot into the new pot.. there will be a little space all around the edged. and I just need to know if that ok to have?? I know the roots will brow down to the bottom before they start coming back up the sides of the pot but will having thast soil around the edged effect the growth/roots at all?? =-/

The other pots I have are about the same size.. soo wen I got to put Mary-J and her pot into the empty pot.. it barely fits.. since they're the same width... soo I kinda have to FORCE it into the pot.. and this makes the pot/plant an extra 8 1/2 inches tall... ughhhh.. wat to do wat to do... lol

Lemme know if anyone can help.. I'm gonna transplant Myrstery now.. to try to give this question some time to maybe get some answers.. But i already started to cut the bottom off.. soo i cant stop now.. =/

I actually just thought of somethign that might work for my problem..... I will use the bigger/wider pot.. adn fill it 1/2 way.. and place the pot in there.. and try to put it righ tin the middle... and all the space around the pot.. I will just fill it up with soil... and that way it will keep any of the root growth that would be showing safe.. like I said.. I'm not sure If i'm making any sense at all.. its really hard to explain. I am still gonna transplant Mystery 1sy just to see if anyone has any better idea. =) you guys usually have lots of good ideas.

I know what you mean. Have you tried craigslist? I picked up my 400 watt MH for 50$ a few years ago.(dude gave me some 2 foot flouros and a copy of the indoor/outdoor grow bible too lol) Maybe won't find that good of a deal but maybe find something although htg got some pretty good deals.

Why not try cutting out the bottom of your pot and than putting it on top of another pot filled with soil?

Hmmm. no I havent checked CraigsList...?? Might do that today.. I checked ebay.. but they're all roughly the same price as the new ones.. maybe 10 bucks less.. but its used. =/

ANd yeaaa. that is what I'm doing. lol. But the problem is I have pot that is a little small. .soo it just barely fits it.. soo i would have to fill the pot up all the way.. adn it would be madd tall!! and then the opther pot is a little big.. soo theres room all round th epot when I put it in... =/

I decided to put it in the bigger pot.. adn I just filled up all the space along the sides of the pot with soil.. and I packed it along the edges REALLY REALLY tight! about as tigh as I could get it...

You shoulda seen the roots from the plant!! it was fucking CRAZY!! I actually took a fwe pics of the roots.. i'll post them in a fwe.. im just finishing re-pottin Mary-J.. then I'm postin up the pics.. =)

Sorry it took sooo long guys.. took me a while to actually get the transplant going... and then since Mary-J is now 7 inches higher off the ground.. it threw my light setup all off.. and you guys see hoe my setup is.. lmao. I got lights tied to string and some taped/taced on the wall.. soo I had to take them ALL down and raise them all.. Ughhhhh.. Not fun..

Mystery seems very happy in her new home.. and I tried to straighten her out a bit, since she grew kinda crooked. =) Still no signs of sex... hopefully soooon!!
