Found out yesterday, but checked it out thuroughly today, that my bushier plant is the purple phenotype.. The first calyxes, the ones on the sides of the branches at the nodes, are purple/white, and some of the calyxes in the budsites are turning purple or just growing in purple.. I was so happy about this that I put the other plant outside, hopefully to reveg before the frost, and I can bring it back in later.. I wanted to focus all of my 290 watts on this girl.. She is going to be super sweet and taste like candy, if its anything like the other purple ice phenos i've tried.. I also went to the store and bought some black strap mollasses.. Thanks to whoever recommended it.. I put like a quarter-tablespoon in 16 ounces of water.. Dunno if thats correct, but we'll see what works best over the next few days..
Also, I trimmed the sucker leaves off my purple girl, a friend told me that my buds would get bigger quicker, I believe him.. It also got some more light to budsites that werent gettin much..

Oh yeah, and another reason I ditched the scraggly plant was because it hasnt made any bud sites.. just a couple pistils here and there from the calyxes.. its only 3 days behind (from showing sex) my purple plant, but the purple has been gettin buds all over.. I dont get it, so it had to go..

so now you only have the 1 plant now? you dont think it would have been worth waiting a little longer with her? hope you get a good haul off the 1 then. were they the same strain?

My friend has since taken her and put her under his 500 watt hps.. I sure hope to get a decent yield from the one I have...

I fucked up my grow cab trying to change the lights around, I fucked it up man.. ended up breaking one of my 42 watters, made the grow cab unusable, and fucked up some other things in a fit of rage...
Soooo, I moved my plant to the attic.. Its a bit of a temp rise, but I got it down a bit.. Temps stay at 85 during the hottest part of the day, not bad, and in the evening and early morning they are around 78.. I dont have a box to grow in, so I'm going to have to spend a lot of hours in the attic trying to make the most out of the space I got.. and I got a lot of space up there..
I've included a pic of my plant, the lights, the exhaust not hooked up, and a fan all in the same pic.. just to show the amount of space I got up there..
Check it out.. This is only temporary till I get things fixed up, I'll keep using the attic though, I'll just make it nicer and more reflective.. Maybe build my own closet.. LOL.. I can..

Also, I'm going to try to make a reflector, some really ghetto reflector shit, to keep the lights down on the plant, instead of everywhere.. I wish I didnt have to move it, but I couldnt hang lights in my old room due to the cieling tiles..

Alot of people use turkey pans to make the reflector works good and its cheap.Also try getting some reflection up.

Nice.. Yeah, I was super bummed about it.. but I just said fuck it and tried this spot out.. I'm probably going to seal off the spot im growing in and add a door.. Its really hot up there.. Maybe I can figure out another box, I sure hope so.. Gotta get the temps down..

hey, the super ghetto u-haul grand wardrobe box is only $13 from any u-haul center, or any storage place sells these boxes and it has a bar across the top to hang the lights from. good thing about cardboard is you can cut holes anywhere you want, or just tape them back up. i use the big box for flowering and a small one for vegging.

I put the plant back in the old room, it was way too hot up in the attic today, I quickly got my plant outta there.. Had some help from a friend so it was a quick move back to the original room.. The purple is really coming out on her.. Can't wait till the whole buds are purple..
