nitrogen deficiency at 27 days?

I've got a small plant (about one inch or so :/) I've been growing it for almost a month and i'm starting to worry that it might be suffering from a nitrogen deficiency. Granted I am new to growing. Is it possible that my leaves are such a light green due to a nitrogen problem, or do you think that's just the color of young leaf. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'm also looking to promote a healthier root system, as it seems to be kind of small. Again, i'm new haha.
thank you kindly.

Fyi- this is just a seed i germd from high grade bag. I didn't want to blow cash i don't have on feminized and such and risk a failed attempt. I also haven't had the bills for a real setup. so all i have at the moment is the sun. (Moving it window to window). I know it's kind of ridiculous, but it's all in the name of learning, practice, and free bud haha. Thanks again.

Ok so the photo seems like a no go at this point. My laptop screen is smashed and I can't seem to load the pic to my iPad. As an update, I've added wood ash to the soil from a friends fire place, and about two eggshells. The plant still seems small, and the leaves are a light green. No other yellowing though other than the first two leaves. I'm still pretty worried.
Thenplants probably about three inches at the most and it's been goin for over three weeks excluding germ period.
