Nitrogen Deficiency with BioBizz Nutes

Hi,

I've been using Biobizz Grow and Bloom for about 5 grows now, but I can't seem to find a feeding schedule that keeps things green long enough. I tend to see yellowing of lower leaves, followed by all fan leaves around week 5-6.

Ive attached a photo of snowdawg from the end of week 6.

I use FoxFarm OF mixed 2:1 with light warrior and 2tsp per gallon of dolomite lime. Veg is about 3 weeks to 1 month in 3 gallon pots.

Two waterings ago I upped the grow to 2 ml/l, and last watering went to 3 ml/l and the yellowing has progressed. My ph is good as well.

Can anyone help me address this issue?

In the past I've followed the BioBizz recommended schedule, as well as the advice I found from another thread below with similar (yellow) results:

"Once you are on 12/12 start feeding 1 ml of both grow and bloom to a litre of water.

At about week 2 of flowering change the mix to 1 ml grow and 2 ml bloom per litre.

At week 3 [21 days] a one off feed of a heaped table spoon of epsom salts per 10 litres add to that 1 ml of grow and 2 ml of bloom.

Round the 4 week mark, the mix is 1ml gr and 3 ml bl.

Once you start to see browning of pistils change to 2 ml gr and 1 ml bl keep with that till the end."

you need the mic as well , alga mic , for magnesium and micros. add 2 ml of mic also. i have another nutrient known as medi-one (mygreenplanet) 4-3-3 that has been used to save me. but if you don't want to use the mic than get at least a cal mag supplement it contains your nitrogen and micros but the algamic is the best way. and should do the trick. also you can make your grow stronger also if needed. but i think in your case it's just missing the mic.

also sometimes it's not the nutrients that cause this but temperatures being incorrect, air circulation not 100% or overwatering of the soil or bad soil composition. Overwatering for me with biobizz is killer in the sense that i would expect to absolutely lose foliage and for it to present itself as a N deficiency. but if i water perfectly than it works out good. i forgot to use the mic on my current grow and have suffered irreparable damage. :) unless i spray plants but not sure i care to. :)

you can also use the fish mix, this will increase the microbial activity and your nitrogen levels. do not use it close to harvest. i think we are lucky because biobizz finished products are of the highest quality for our mind body and soul.

once it's deficient like that i wouldn't increase the grow to 2 ml . prior to this when it shows rudimentary signs of deficiency you could try 2 ml of the grow but not after it is deficient. another thing to consider is if your using hps light the absorption of blue light is very low so it affects the plants performance.

P1010080.jpgthe reason for the deficiencies are due to missed watering, overwatering, bad overall care of the plant and there was 1 feed in which i gave the biobloom at full strength and it wasn't ready for that so it may have caused a little damage. keep trying work of art.

Hey,

I know this is an old topic, but I've come across this exact issue. I have two plants, and one of them was really hungry and I think several times I missed watering or was late watering which resulted in droopy leaves, maybe that shocked the plant. Now I'm in Week 5 flower, and have the same yellow leaf issue. I guess I just have to ride it out. Bud development looks good.

Cheers

Hey sorry I know this is an old post but I have this excact problem with biobizz now and never had it before. How did it turn out in the end I'm kind of worried I won't yield much now but progress so far still looks good. I'm only like 3 weeks in flower so long way go
I have used Biobizz with succes for some years until i made some unnecessary brand changes in 2012. Enough reasons to use Biobizz again.
Never expected the issues i'm having now. The same problem you're having starting in around week 2-3 of flowering.

Please let me know if you found a fix for this.
Tried two runs this year. Might be time for some change again.
