Nitrogen Toxicity Help me please!!

Hey guys im having a problem with Nitrogen Toxicity its my 8th day into flower and my plant seems to be doing pretty good except for the canoeing of a few leaves that also have the claw. Im growing hydro so I know its not overwatering... Heres the run down of my plant and system

5 gallon DWC black bucket
2 big pumps 4 airstones
running Floraduo A&B
rez temp 69.7
ph 5.8

Right now my plant is in the 8th day of flower so she probably still has a lot of Nitrogen built up in her from veg. She is still growing good I think atleast as this is my first plant but shes growing about 3/4 of an inch to an inch a day. She already is full of preflowers and everything. I was thinking about doing a 48 hour flush and see if that works im just worried because I don't know if that's safe to do this early in flower. Last rez change I gave her all Floraduo B (bloom) with no A at all. Floraduo B is 1-5-4. So what do you guys think?? is flushing it a good idea?? And is that 1 in the floraduo too much even?? thanks guys let me know.

Un named strain with both canoing and clawing leaves ..

if you haven't dumped your rez of vegging nutes then dah!!! it will be (N) poison

.^^^^as above pix please

I see No nute issues as yet,
tho curled leaves may indicate root issues
not a Def. as such
see to your room temps too and Rh

if in doubt change your rez at least 1x time per week

if you can do this with a humble cfl
just imagine what you can do with
a 400w hps?

make a normal batch of nutes, dilute it by 100 ppms, top water it generously, kick the ph down to 5.7 for a couple days. Also, spray fresh water on it.

The strain is Red Purps and my ppm right now is 515. I have a RH meter on the way now it should be here by tomorrow or the next day. The roots are really healthy white and a good lot of them so I don't think it is the roots. Right now I only have the bloom nutes going and there 1-5-4. What are the issues that could come from the room temp and humidity and what would I have to do to get it right?

the Roots are directly in the water there are two big pumps and 4 airstone pumping bubbles into the rez so she is getting plenty of oxygen. The rooms not hot or anything prob around 68 70 degrees. The roots look really healthy

When my room gets below 70 I start to see curling like that. At 65 they definitely curl. I don't use CFL but I would consider the temp for your lights on period might be low.

I have to tell ya -- @ 550 ppm, I would bet its your strain, especially if you say everything else is straight. It looks healthy and beautiful to me otherwise. I've had similar issues with strains that turned out to have some Thai lineage. Ak47, fruity Thai, and dj short blueberry all started curling on me once in flower. I tried different nutrients, organic and synthetic -- different media, hydro, soil and soilless -- I tried almost eliminating nitrogen all together once in flower and it still curled. I wouldn't do anything drastic; it looks like you're doing everything right. And I wouldn't go below 500 ppm in flower for fear of phosphorus or potassium deficiencies. That's just my 2 cents.

Thanks a lot I took out a lot of the Nitrogen so it should be better if it is that. And if it is the temps because It is winter here and sometimes it gets chilly i have a little fan/space heater in there that you can see in the corner i could kick that on i guess and move it away so it doesn't heat up my rez water. I thought she looked good too and shes growing about an inch a day. I will try this and wait for my RH meter to see humidity levels and see what happens. I was scared to flush her because shes at the begging of flower and prob could use all the nutes she gets. Preflowers are popping up everywhere so that's a good sign

My strain is Red Purps i looked into it and there is some thai in it. It comes from purple power and skunk #1 so i guess afghani and thai def a sativa

I'm telling you bro, it's the Thai and you're fighting a losing battle; there's no sense in cutting the N if you have to cut back the P and the K too -- especially when you're already running a 1-5-4. The leaves will turn darker and curl more as flowering progresses -- no matter what you do. The thing that resonates most with me is that your leaves aren't even that dark of a green yet and they're already curling a few days into flower. The plant looks beautiful -- I wouldn't change a thing -- ok lol -- I'm really done now -- I'm passionate about curling I guess. Haha

Haha thanks man its so good to hear that you think she looks good but does the curling effect the buds or anything? I guess ill just keep doing what im doing. Ive been doing rez changes every week since I started her. Thanks I just really hope everything turns out good I just got paranoid when I saw it. Aslong as it doesn't effect the buds I don't care tho

Na, it won't effect the buds -- they'll do just fine -- just keep doing what you're doing. An "actual" nitrogen toxicity will turn the leaves a dark dark green and it will delay the onset of flowering by a week or more. If you're on day 8 of flower and you're already getting bud sites and some good pre-flowers, you're right where you need to be and then some. And as a matter of fact I would consider myself lucky for finding a natural "curler" because those Thai genetics are fire--straight up.

Sweet thanks a lot that really helps. ya me leaves aren't that dark at all really and the preflowers even got some color to them on a few of them so that's awesome maybe ill stick with this strain for awhile. I have some Humboldt honey carbs but im afraid to use them because its really dark and i don't want to mess up the rez water but i heard it makes it sweeter do you have and exp with carbs and know the effects on the plant when you give carbs?? And what nutes do you use for buds besides your base nutrient reg?? Thanks again so glad i signed up :)

That's a tricky one and if you ask 10 people, you'll probably get 10 different answers. Personally, In dwc, I've had bad luck with sweeteners and any sort of organic matter in the res. -- I always get some kind of root sludge but others use it with great success. It's something you'll just have to toy with and see what works best for you. If you're looking to play it safe though, I would go without it for now. Nothing sucks more than root issues during mid-flower in dwc. If you're dead set on using it however, I would only add it during the last couple weeks or so as a finishing agent -- when you're kind of in the clear bud development wise. I use molasses in soil all the time and I love it -- but dwc is a different beast. I'm happy to help bro.
