I couldve sworn I specified Jack's. Usually I proofread before I hit post.
For the money its REALLY hard to beat.
The 15-10-30 could work well. I'd be interested to see it next to the Citrus. Balanced N & K seems to work just fine. I really wish I had the setup to actually collect data on plant intake and such.
I've got to say I'm thrilled with how this conversation has gone. Discussing my feeding habits often results in drama.

No drama from this lad, tomAto tomahhthh-to.

I would also love to try different ratios of all of the Peters stuff. It would be a fun experiment if one had the time and space lol.

I'm mostly an organic grower so I use very little nutes, usually around 500ppm (maybe 600 w/ cal mag occasionally) with my water coming in at 100. Feed water feed with a nice organic soil mix takes all of that guessing out for me. I run 8-12 different strains perpetually so there are so many different demands that i think the Jack's helps to fill the gaps and keep it simple.

I like the simplicity of organic growing and I also like the consistency of Jack's all purpose. It grows mad dank, period!

I like immediately available mineral salts as nutrients because I like to run an inert medium and have full control over what the plant is fed at a given time. I'm not sure what the EC of my feed is because my EC meter was among the things my old partner took from me and I haven't had money to replace it. In soilless I usually feed about 0.5 tsp/gal with every watering through flower. Vegging plants get fed when they need it but I don't pay as much attention. Generally a feed of 1/4tsp/gal will get me a few waterings before I need to feed again but I do a bonsai veg in a storage tub so it's small plants.

feeding was as this
2.5gallons water
1/2 tsp protekt (dyna)
1 tsp calimagic (gh)
1/2 tsp foliage pro

so dosages came out to like,4 or 500 PPM on 100ppm tap water
next time i water, in a week or so, ill give them 1/2 dosage of what i fed, then after that give them double what i fed this time

the soil hempy pots and regular soil pots, 8x, I took out the 2 smallest today. The foliage looks light green which is most likely due to the soil I used
I will get some dolomite lime and topdress them asap, that should take care of em. there are now 3x 3l soil hempy's and 3x 3l soil plants. It doesn't seem to be much of a difference with the hempy res, so I might go with it from now on. All's the hempy res will mean is less watering!

downward on the 2nd ceedling, this one I had to LST a little because it was bushier. I don't know if it did it because it's in the middle of the light track, or if it's because of the pheno. We'll see how the clones do

the stalk in focus here is i think #2, but I was trying to get a pic of the last plant, big bud ceedling #1. I'm really loving all the green!

there's a little larfy-ness on the bottoms.
I plan on getting 4 foot bulbs, and getting my second dual 4 footer on the right, (the left one's bulbs died too) then I can use the two dual bulb 2' fixtures to help with the bottom growth.

the amaryllis finally bloomed, i took day by day pic's, it was fun growing this out.
the bulb was a gift, and is from white flower farm. These bulbs are 30$ each, and will always do 3 flowers. I plan on bringing it outside for the summer and continually re-using it, each winter.
anyone with info on bulbs, i'd love to learn about them. Hope ya'll enjoyed the update!!

thanks a bunch ed, I have no clue how many more flowers are gonna bloom from it, but I'm gonna keep taking daily pics and update weekly
any clue how long shrooms stay in your system?

cool man, i've seen you over in the hallucinogens forum, you seem to know your shit
i know there are two major types of shrooms, on with phylocybin(sp), and the other has mescaline. I want the philocybin (sp?) ones!

I can't wait to get my hands on some!
any link to what sort of equipment i might need to grow my own? I own a thermostat/heatmat setup for a propogation tray , and may also be able to get spores
I most likely will find some but , if it's easy enough i might just end up growing them

There's the various psilocybin containing species and there's the amanitas. They have muscimol (I believe that's spelled correctly but I'm not fully awake yet) and don't really sound ljke a fun time to me. As far as growing mushrooms check out Canndo's sticky on how to grow the easy way in HS. He goes through everything you need. You can also get a grow kit for pretty cheap if you just want to try.

all is well, I got a full time job now lol. Here's the updates!! great to hear ya'll were following!100_3295.jpg100_3294.jpg100_3292.jpg100_3295.jpg100_3254.jpg100_3259.jpg100_3260.jpg100_3261.jpg100_3268.jpg100_3269.jpg100_3272.jpg100_3273.jpg100_3276.jpg100_3277.jpg100_3279.jpg100_3281.jpg100_3282.jpg

so the top few are the most recent, followed by the oldest and progressively newer. I hope ya'll enjoy it and hope it was worth the wait!!
next run, i'm going to figure out how to do this without getting the leaves burned by the t5's. I may just end up adding a second 400 and removing the light rail. In that case, I may just put the 4 foot t5's lower and remove the 2foot ones.
I did a good amount of "larf" removal on the very bottoms of the plant. This way I don't break the branches when i'm trying to water. There are spots about 1foot from the base of the plant on both sides so that i can stick my watering spout in there and water the way back ones. I definately could be giving them more light, bottom leaves are dropping off either from hitting and breaking them, or lack of light. The growth is all lush and green, I don't see any major deficiencies, and have been giving a maintenance feed of 1/4-1/2tsp silica by dyna gro, 1/4 tsp/gallon Dyna gro foliage pro, all not pH'd, I feel the happy frog has the right buffering capacity for the rest of the grow.
there's a total of 3x 15 gallons, and 5x 3L plants in there. I have clones ready for next round and am actually considering "Root pruning" them in order to keep them in the rooting stage (lack of light chamber)

I'm doing the 4th solo cup contest (i think) and that will be taking up my veg chamber, so the clones have to stay in the clone chamber for now.

forgot to add in i ruled against the mushies, because i have an old house with lots of problem and the heating system is forced hot air
also , some of the deficiencies seen may be due to cold temps. I have been struggling to keep it higher, but it seems to hover right at 60deg F :( Every time i'm able to get the roots up around 64 or higher the plants look SOO happy.

was also curious if that is an aloe plant or maybe a relative. I didn't know if the spots meant i was missing something or whatever, but I put colored rocks on it for show. :)

hope yall enjoy , they're starting to stink ! !

They all look like they're coming along nicely :D especially the amaryllis flowers. Funny story a friend of mine had smuggled bulbs of those plants to my island a couple years back XD
