NL autoflower from Greenhouse won't pop.

Hello. 6 months ago I bought 3 NL autoflower seeds from greenhouse in amsterdam.
Having given 2 to a friend, the last one is here and won't pop.
Been in a cup of water for 24hours, sank to the bottom, then i moved it to a paper tower.
after 4 days i moved it into soil 1/4" below the surface and dampened the soil.
After 5 days in cold temperature 60-75 Fahrenheit, i decided to leave it in the grow bow so it stays warm, where it's about 80 degrees, in the soil.
It's been 7 days now. Is it lost or should I attempt anything else?
thank you all for the information over time!

Okay yeah I understand it's probably over  haha well i always have bagseeds.. can't really get commercial seeds around here.
should I just let it stay there for a while longer? what are the chances?

i always dig around a little with a pencil to see if i can uncover the seedling if i'm gonna toss it, sometimes i have gotten stunted plants to come back into beautiful ladies

this being an auto, time is so cruicial and I don't think its worth it even if you could get it out (maybe?)

You should use the paper towel inbetween 2 plates to germinate, I get about 95% germ rate with it compared to just putting them in the soil

Just an update: I dug it up and chipped its side where it was supposed to pop with a sharp sterile knife. 2 more days in paper towel and it popped (: after 12 days total

That is great news, and that was a good move.
