No bud growth....

I moved 4 autos to another location for someone else to care for as my grow room was too full. Well, after a month, when those 4 should be finished, I checked them and was shocked at how very little bud was growing....they had stretched from the 14-16 inches to about 36 inches with very small buds all along the elongated shaft ..... appears to have been overwatered....a lot. Out of these 4 plants, it appears to be no more than 1/2 oz total.....IF it's smokable......
The person taking care of them thought she had to water them everyday thinnking the 1000watter was drying them out fast....and the light was hung too high causing the stretch....checking the pots, all roots were next to the pot with hardly any inside the soil mass.....and it was very spongy....
This was my christmas harvest which has turned out to be dismal...good thing the ones I kept in the other grow room are doing great and are about 2 weeks til finish. Bud won't be dried and cured to my liking for another 2 months, but at least at least I didn't loose everything.

i personally wouldnt let anyone look after my plants.id be worrying all the time.

I'm increasing training...LOL.....the person growing them for me has done this for 3-4 years and we've had some wonderful success....just sometimes, things aren't recognized and go downhill.... this is my primary reason for setting up a tent closer to home and getting things well on their way before sending'em to the other grow room....I really have no choice so I just have to be a little more "pre-planned".....

Dont think your friend did anything wrong watering once a day. Heading plants under 1000w suck a lot of water. Sounds like it was too hot in there and too humid which will give you soft spindly buds.
