Yeah I'm growing outside. And leaf miner? Shit I've been checking the leaves so frequently since it initially started and haven't found a bug since I killed the one that started it. Gonna bust the magnifying glass out now tho. Thanks!

Is cutting off the infected sections of the leaves a viable option?

You could cut the leaves off as you find them, but if its infested things can start getting bald real quick. Anything that you give the plants to uptake will be in your finished product so be careful. Spraying with a mild soapy water solution kills all sorts of insects and is relatively harmless. If poison isn't an issue for you than a synthetic pyrethrin should do the trick(quickly) too.

there's only two leaves that are that are being affected and cutting the leaves off definitely seems like a last option or worst case scenario. I've heard neem oil is sufficient? Think that would be safe? Thanks
