No Radio Shack in Canada

Ok I finally got the nerve to go out and get a high powered magnifying glass. I went into the city :-| and discovered that our radio shack is no longer. It is called 'the source' and they didn't have any high powered magnifying glasses.

I was really looking forward to getting close and personal with my buds :hump: but 'no can do' :cry:...
Bummer!!!

And if you can afford it you can get usb microscopes that are very good,one is on my list for after xmas.:blsmoke:

OOOwwwww! A microscope. I'm already starting to feel like a scientist. :-| I'll check it out 'cause growing these is defintely my all time favour hobby. But 1st I need to invest in a good grow light then I will get all these additional items.

I use the same thing, Lacy you can get these online. My bud uses a magnifying glass, it's not as good but it does a half way decent job...kinda shocked me but it does.

I bought a 50X play microscope for kids at zellers for $20 it worked well it has a spacer at the end with a light so you can hold it at the right distance. It's bigger than the one above and its purple.

I feel your pain Lacy i swung by the source only to be disappoitned just this last week. I think I'll pick up one of those jewler things of ebay for 5$ hopefully that'll do the job.

Yes I really want to get something 'cause I find this part probably the most interesting, not just because it's weed that finally in it's last stages but just to see that close would be cool.
I really like the close up pics some people post, plus it would get me a better idea what you are all talking about. I do know understand the trichs going from clear white to cloudy. I didn't quite understand that part before.

Really? I like the colour purple. I would go for just about anything to see a close up of my buds right about now.:mrgreen:

I'd personally stay away from the 60-100x scopes, very hard to see anything while your getting the damn thing close enough and still enough to see, and then you lost it. Those little 30x are all you'll need, i got one of those 80-100x with the light on the end and blah blah blah, I could never see shit for longer than it flashed up on the scope. Got me a 30x and was amazed at how much i could see.
