Why they hell do they give you receipts everywhere you go? What they hell am I supposed to do with my receipt form McDonalds?
Here are some places that should stop giving me receipts:
1. Any Fast food place
2. Gas Stations ( am I going to take the gas back?)
3. Convienience stores
4. Bars (I don't want to know the next day, hungover and broke)

Can't think of anymore right now. Anyone have a collection of receipts?

You reach the upper middle class by cheating the government out of tax revenues. The gas and convenience store receipts are necessary for business meetings that tend to take place at fast food places and bars. Deduct the sum of these expenses from your income taxes :)

Then they should only give it to you if asked. Seriously how many receipts do I need on the floor of my car?

I like to check em just in case they aren't screwing me over with some extra charges. I've caught plenty in the past, assholes trying to charge me an extra cheeseburger, eff that noise.

Dude what are you trying to do show everyone the wizard of oz's underwear?
Only the mighty OZ knows that the receipt IS the money and the dollars are debt. If you only knew the depths of the deep in which you peer...or something

Yeah I know! Every time I get audited they ask me for that receipt from Burger King back in '96. Should have saved that one I guess . . . .

You pay sales tax on food in most states---which can be deducted if you fall within the right tax bracket. It's also the law for the business so they don't launder money for undesirables or cheat their own taxes.
