Hi, I read recently that non-residents can get MM cards in Oregon. Is this accurate? If so, how does one go about it, how much does it cost, and how does one need to prove their condition? For instance, are medical records needed, or can docs in Oregon just visibly assess the condition?
My situation is this: I had cancer twice before (in 1989 and 1997) and went through surgery, chemo, etc. I swore if it came back, I would not go through it again. Well, the cancer is back; but even though I know the cancer is back, I haven't gone to the doc to get the to verify it. (It's skin cancer and readily visible.)
What I am hoping is to visit Oregon, get a MM card, and either purchase Rick Simpson Oil, or product to make the oil, and then return home once I've used it.
Since I haven't gone back to the doc because I don't want them to force chemo or surgery on me (don't say they don't do that, because they darn well do nowadays!) I don't have current medical records of the cancer; however, like I said, it's skin cancer and very readily visible. So, would going to a doc and letting them look at it be enough in Oregon to get a MM card?
Any information or guidance would be appreciated.
Thank you kindly, Lav
