Hey everyone, well i have somewhat of a problem. about a week ago i cut clones off my mothers and put them in the tray with the dirt clumps and solution. About 3 days later i dropped the tray. water went everywhere along with the clones so i quickly picked them up redipped them in solution and put them all back. they didnt die but now they're starting to grow white hairs. I've never seen this out of a clone, does anyone know what this means?

thanks in advance!

Growing white hairs from where?
Could be that your mother already had preflowers and they carried on flowering for a bit. I took my clones a little late and they all kept on flowering for awhile and shot out all kindsa hairs and looked like they were gonna die but there starting to come around

Idk if it matters but i cut the clones before i put the mothers into flowering. Just a little extra info.

Hmm that does sound a little more unusual that they would do that then? Id just give it time im sure they will come around. Do u know your strain? Perhaps its an autoflowering one, sorry i dont have any definite answers but i am fairly new and unless its happened to me i have to ask too!

it sounds like you streased them out alot on top of the streas from getting cut off, when plants get streased to the point of near death, they do everything they can to carry on genetics, this was your clones final atempt at saving the species so to say. it will be fine, maybe stunted a bit, might take an extra few days to root. just treat them like the delicate little babys they are from now on. they need as little streas as possable, that means light, heat, dry air, dont wet the soil again. unless it really looks like its drying out bad, which if its in a dome it shouldnt be.

good luck and good growing! bongsmilie
