So jus b honest. Htg supply 240 watt, 7 band led n 2 hydroponics hut 50 watt plasma lamps. All currently 24 inches above canopy. Placing them where light meter reads high, the leaves burn. Placing them at manufacturer suggested height, there is ver slow growth, compared to a Flo t5 even just overnight. Plants are in a 4x4 gro tent. They go out on sunny days but it is getting colder n I am seeing no progress when they stay in. R the lights junk? Are they too high? Help?

If they were too high or not enough light, wouldn't she be stretching toward it? Are you talking height or nodes? If height, be happy.

I have the same HTG LED about 10" from my plants and it is working well! Don't know what else to say.

Good luck!

Thanks two :) the led is now 28 inches above the white widow who has if I am counting right, 9 nodes at 27 days. I took her out of an organic mix n put her info miracle grow about a week ago and the progress is now evident. So i think there may have been a couple of issues not just a light issue. Plasma lights r now at neat 30 inches above canopy and no more light burn for Mekong seedlings. growth is way better for the seedlings under the ho t5 however though it may just be my learning curve which killed my nl auto. I do look for very rapid growth in my garden n when the nutes r ok then looked at lights. All of my Mekong seedlings showed light burn when plasma lights were 9 inches as I read on a thread somewhere on this forum. Now at 30 inches no light burn but growth is better under ho t5. I'll try them again for flowering.

Also it is confusing who n what to believe. Hps seems to be more like a science n led more like a tabloid at times.
