Terrible idea....they are seedlingsLOL...I'm not giving them shit right now....too paranoid! I though because the light feeding seems to help them I might try a little foliar spray with the fish ferts - good or bad idea?
No offense but that's what I was told about the supposed over feeding i was doing but if i stuck with that route and just did the flush they'd most likely be dead.Terrible idea....they are seedlings
Mulehunter, you lost me here bro! can you clarify?...rise the ppm 100 once a week until you reach 800 then its up to you if you want to giv. More ppms from there i never go above 900...
Raise your ppms by 100 every week.Mulehunter, you lost me here bro! can you clarify?
I am basing this on experienceNo offense but that's what I was told about the supposed over feeding i was doing but if i stuck with that route and just did the flush they'd most likely be dead.
What are you basing this on? This is what i've read on the subject...
From theweedblog.com:
Clones, young plants, seedlings, and every marijuana plant in vegetative state will experience extreme benefits with foliar feeding. Because clones aren’t rooted, they require foliar feeding as a means to develop roots and avoid yellow discoloration (a frequent problem for cloners).

Correcting plant deficiency problems
So then spraying is also useful in correcting plant deficiency problems, because of the very rapid absorption of plant nutrients through the leaves. Foliar spraying applications of fertilizer will provide almost instantaneous results. The best time to foliar spray is early in the morning for outdoor growers, and when the lights come on for indoor growers. This is the period when the stomatas are open. However, if the temperature is 80 degrees or above, the spray will have less of a effect, as a lot of the stomatas are closed. Foliar feeding is extremely beneficial to clones, seedlings, young plants, and all plants while in the vegetative stage
just a few....
That would be me, you are welcome. So, whoever said "lock out" or deficiency was more than likely on point. I'm glad I went back and did a light feed after being advised to flush at first. (these opinions were coming from here and another source so if things don't completely add up based on whats here it's because i had other opinions form somewhere else.)
i grew this one out was good smoke too funeral music gives you motivationI get it but I don't have a few day old plants here. They're about 4 weeks old. I'm not arguing I'm just concerned that if they're on the mend since the last little bit of nutes, it might help with the "come back" to give a little more N. I was under the impression that the fish ferts won't burn anyhow so I just thought a mild mix spritz would give them that without disturbing the roots. I don't mean to question you guys but there are so many different opinions and they can't all be right. I'm not willing to waste 4 weeks I've spent on these guys without a bit of a fight so that's why I'm trying to double and triple check things. This is a good case of that. I've seen multiple published pieces on growing weed that say its fine and even good for seedlings but then here it's not. Just confusing sometimes.
