ok guys, heres my question, ill be growing in a 80x80x160 tent, only 2 plants in it, one of them will be a shorty, if that makes difference ;), lights are single dual spectrum 200w CFL, now heres where i am confused, i have a 4" inline fan capable of 180m3/h at his max, and a 4" Rhino pro carbon filter which is rated 350m3/h, will my inline fan be capable to suck the air from scruber and output fresh air? or should i get a more stronger fan, or another one like this? or i will do ok? any help appreciated

i use a 4" fan in a similar sized tent. Im using LED which are low heat like cfl and i only need to have the fan on about 20% power to ventilate well

i think you will be fine. i assume fan will lead to exhaust out of the tent.
yeah it will lead out of the tent via duct but not outside the room, it will bring the extracted air to the room, hope the air be filtrated by the way it gets out, also i have an ona gel, a full buket, so if even some smell escapes, ona will finish it of :) hopefully :)

fewh.. im all set then, was worried for the air filtration for a while, thanx people for clearing this up for me

how baddly would i need the controler? were thinking about it, but then checked the specs and my fan produces only 40dB of sound at his max, considering fan inside the tent, so i thought i wouldnt need it, unless it can sound as a whisper with controler :)

ive got 4 plants in there. the fan controller definatly helps keep the noise down, plus you dont want to over cool your room by havign a full speed fan on all the time. my setup is in a closet i have no ducting just the fan and filter ducttaped together hung inside the tent with the blowing side of the fan pokign through a vent hole duct taped into place. there is no smell escaping the tent that i've ever noticed, but if i turn it off you can start to smell it pretty quickly. heres a pic of my setup. i close the closet door at night and open it again sometime when i wake up in the morning, ive never had temperature issues. (half of the tent fits behind the wall, its a really wide closet, tent is 2x3x5

You shouldn't need the ONA. The only time I get smell is when I leave my tent partially open.

Good luck!

well you know, id rather be prepared than not, besides i like the smell, placed it in some of my rooms to
mask the stinky smell, and i like it :)
