Day 11 from placing sprout into pot

first lets just say that i am very new to this...well to the growing aspect for ive loved mary jane for a long time now...ive always thought that the plant was the most beautiful flower its heavenly...ive only ever been able to see these plants in magazines and once in a while score some super bud but other then that im pretty oblivious so i will greatly appreciate all the advice and suggestions anyone has to help me on the wonderful experience...ok so here is my setup:

Seeds: bagseeds :-( good smoke tho

Soil: Miracle grow organic (yes i know...couldnt find any fox farm thank you and i would like to go all organic with nutes as well)( havent gotten or used and nutes yet so would love suggestions and how to feed)

Lights: 8 27w 6500k 1400 lumens
3 26w 2700k 1200 lumens
1 62w 2700k 4200 lumens

Fans: 2 desk box fans inside 1 large box fan for when doors open

the whole closet is 12square ft but its at 9square ft right now

dont know why that girl in the middle is curling under...

yes ive realized i shouldnt have put 2 in one pot so will take weaker one out

look right so far?

so i will keep everyone updated (hoping that there is an everyone) cause i would love some input from anyone let me know what im doin wrong/right if anything is right so please post

Lookin great man! Totally subscribed. You could always LST the two plants in different directions kinda like i'm doing with my 12/12 clones. Or who knows, might even be able to repot them separatly without harming their root structure too badly. Guess that depends on if you have any more room. Whatcha gunna do about odor control? Or is that not an issue?

so should i just leave them both in there and see what happens or take one out and let jus one grow...odor not an issue actually hoping its really smelly and i can bath in it haha...but the whole setup looks good and what not?

Lookin good bruv!!! Loving the tinfoil!!! Yeah i agree with growing 2 per pot and lst them to maximise space. Are your plants moving much from the fan??? Because my stems look a fair bit thicker and knottier than yours at the same age?

at first i did then i was afraid they were blowing too much so i diverted them and then just today i placed them back on cause i was thinkin the same thing that my stems were a tad skinny...can they be blown too much?

If you blow them over to the point they bend permanently you'll have bent over plants. lol. Wow for some reason typing that made me feel retarded. Can always burry them down alittle.

Just caught myself staring at a picture of your set-up in a daze. Really impressed - its such the epidomy of stoner: tin foil, cardboard, electrical tape, books, a carabiner. Stoners love it simple - if it works why the fuck not?

yeah i planned on pulling out the weaker of the two after a week or so...i heard tho males sprout and veg faster is this true?

Males tended to sprout and veg faster for me but I doubt thats always true.

Ide still leave both of them in there. Heres a few pictures of some clones I took and put in the same pot. 8 of them in there and they seem to be doing great! Of course I put them right into flower so they arn't going to get all that big. But I think as long as you repot into a large enough vessel the roots should be fine together.

It's all up to your whim of course - do whatever feels best for you. And perhaps ask the seedlings and see if they have anythign to say :)

Oh yeah - I forgot to mention I had another 3 or 4 in that pot that ended up being males and i just pulled them straight out without a problem. So either way i'de say you're in the safe.

man your clones look very nice...jus this morning i took some of the less developed seedlings out to make jus one per pot....left one pot with 2(for gastanker)...and one pot had to very nice starts so i transplanted one into a different pot(for ahood)...try a lil of everything see what happens...how long do you veg your clones before flowering gastanker? so to find a mother plant i have to flower first to find sex? then place female back to veg 18/6 and maker my mother?

Great choice on trying different things! Thats how we learn right?

So here is what I did/know/have read:

If you veg long enough the plants will show preflowers and you will know sex - but this requires veging for quite a while I believe. What I did was put them into 12/12 and once I saw first sign of sex I took a couple cutting from each plant - you usually want to free up the bottom anyways. Then you can keep one of the clones as a mother or keep taking a few clones from each plant each generation.

You could of course do what you said and just put a female back into veg. From what I have heard it makes the plant go dormant for a couple weeks switchign back to veg but that shouldn't be any hindrance.

I started my plants on 12/12 around the 20th day - they were around 4-6" tall. But I did this too keep them small. I grow in a 2x3x3' area so I needed to keep them as short as possible. My shortest plant - mostly indica is now 15" and will prolly top out around 20. I had to break the neck of my tallest because it exceeded the 3' ceiling. The majority have topped out at around 2.5'. So that should give you a heads up of how much more they grow in flower - they definately shoot skyward, and my plants had extremely close node spacing.
