Noobie would like suggestions...kinda long

Hello,

First off, great site, hands down the best. Secondly, I have been growing now for about a year and have basically learned through trial and error. My last harvest netted me 4lbs BUT I had 10 plants that were 6.5 feet tall in 15 gallon soiless mix buckets. I would like to increase that number to at least 6-7. Here is a quick rundown of my process:

Veg:
when rooted clones are ready I put them immediately in the 15 gallon pots with Premier Tech Pro-Mix BX (which is presoaked in Advanced Nutrients F1). I veg them till they are around 5 feet tall under 3 T5 HO (2' x 4' 8 bulb) fixtures all the while they are fed with 1 shot glass of Advanced Nutrients Grow part A and B and Botanicare Sweet in 5 gallons of water. I start feeding each plant 1/2 gallon per feeding (when they need it) and work up to 2.5 gallons per feeding when they are near being switched to bloom.

Bloom:
When switched over to bloom I have 8 bigfoot hoods with 1000w Red Diamond HPS shinning on them at which point they grow about another foot in that room so they end up being about 12-14" from the light (no issues with burning or yellowing since I have them all vented with 4 760cfm fans and have 2.5 ton AC in the room). I feed these guys a shot glass of Advanced Bloom A and B, B-52, Big Bud, Sweet, Super Nova, Dark Energy, Overdrive and Gravity (humboldt nutes). Obviously, I don't start them off all at one, they are added accordingly in the time ranges suggested on the back of the containers. Although Bloom A and B, Super Nova, Dark Energy and Sweet are run the whole time.

Due to space confinement in my new place, I had to resort to a grow tent in the basement where I have 12 plants in 5 gallon buckets and plan to grow them to 3-3.5 feet tall, then transport them to the main veg place that is at my dads where they will be transplanted into 15gallon buckets (ideally I would start them right off in 15g buckets like I mentioned I was doing earlier but I am space constrained). This way I can tend to them, set them up for growing and give my dad a steady influx of plants (since that is where the big bloom room is) that can be quickly vegged for another 2 weeks and then put into bloom while I start more clones and so on.

ANY SUGGESTIONS ON WAYS TO SET THEM UP FOR A SOLID HARVEST IS WELCOMED! I am reading about IFM and Scrog methods but am new to that. If anyone could give me points on what I could do to enhance the stage they are in now (vegging for just over 2 weeks) I would be greatful.

Here is a pic, the ones inside the RED perimeter= Black Widow, the ones inside the yellow perimeter are Blue Cheese and the last 2 towards the bottom right are Danny Trevino (super silver haze x AK-47). The farthest bottom right is great looking and the tallest (reason I don't have the lights closer to the rest cus its already so tall) and the litte runt next to it is aonly that small cuz I literally took a stalk of a plant thrown away and dipped it in clonex and the little bastard made it. I'm impressed at the rate of growth on the DT even for the runt.

THANKS, TGITS

Thanks, yeah I like the Pro-Mix a lot. I was thinking about adding in earth worm casting in the future.

keep reading into SCROG and you'll have a nice canopy of fatty nuggets, oh and are you using CO2? that would increase yield immenselybongsmilie
