Normal Colored Colas?

Hello,

1st time grower. I've heard some color changes at near colas is normal. Wondering about the tips here. Any thoughts?
This is a purple kush auto at 5 weeks. Using blurple smd leds and fox farms liquid nutrients as directed.

Thanks for the input.

Agreed wi above. Those buds are showing new growth. But the tips of the new growth is a sign of nute burn. Budding plants need much less nitrogen and more phosphorus and potassium. As well as trace nutes like calcium, magnesium, iron etc.

Thanks. So cut down on the nutes. Thought this stuff was supposed to be good to go as is. Or is it that my lights are too close causing the plant to uptake too many nutes? Feels like having your first kid where a small cough is either a cold or a pulmonary embolism.

A good rule of thumb is to start at half strength and adjust accordingly. And its flowering hope you switched from veg to bloom nutes

you dont stop veg nutes.. you add bloom on top of veg.. the plant doesnt stop its need for nitrogen .. just look at any nutrient schedule.. they add bloom.. not replace veg with bloom..
But adjust to however your plant seems.. too dark lower nitro.. losing lower leaves quickly.. raise nitro..

Yeah but this guy is in excess by a large margin. He could likely stop for a couple waters and be fine. Im sure theres tons still waiting to be absorbed. And alot of bloom boosts will have a small amount of N. Depending on brand. And too mich N will produce crappy flower

Very slight nute burn but for sure cut way back on the N now. as it's an auto it keeps vegging as it flowers so needs all nutes available but as flowering progresses less N and more P and K with K becoming more dominant towards the end.

You could safely use water only once or twice then feed the bloom part unless you see yellowing starting on the lower leaves then still go easy on the N. I'm not all that familiar with FF nutes and use AN myself.

Update.
She has grown quite a bit. Unfortunately the burnt tips have not gone away and seems to be spreading. I cut back on N and used half strength 2-8-4 every other watering with no noticeable changes. Tried flushing due to the abundance of N toxicity recommendations. Then the outer edges started to turn yellow after flush and resuming water and water+nutes. Some sites said Mag deficiency, others light burn. Seeing as how its def getting Mag, i moved lights up yesterday. Don't know what else to do. Leaves up top are praying a bit too, which is hard to see in photo.
Temp: 72-75 range between day & night
Humidity: 48-54% range
Measured 400 ppfd (with an iphone app) at canopy top after moving lights up

That is still such minor burn that you shouldn't be wasting so much thought on it. The yellow bits will never go away so snip them all off so you can see if it's still going on. Doesn't look like it tho.

Chillax!
