My wedding cheesecake auto I have now is a ridiculous fast plant
Guess you got lucky with the fast pheno... or maybe i just did something wrong lol

As far as NL , seems to be a hell of a lot of choice out there and the feeling is sensi NL is not worth the price tag and has went down in quality.
The best bet that i can see is "ortega" from Mr Nice. Youd have to sort through males and look for a good female mom but im certain you would find it. The lineage is nl#1 x nl#5

I have 2 more seeds of this wedding cheesecake auto. I don't positively know, BUT I sure the other 2 beans will be of the slower phenotypes of this strain. Luck Never strikes me twice on anything, even phenotypes! :eyesmoke: I bean thinking about AK Bean Brains as a breeder for a good Photo period NL? What y'all think?

Every U.S. seed bank seems to be sold out of AK Bean Brains Northern Lights #5 or #2 IDK. I'm still looking around for some though. I thought about Strainly.com but that site just seems shady to me.

I’ve never seen a plant grow with such vigour compared to NL

Almost impossible to kill as i found out one winter when a seedling survived the winter with temps around 2-5c and 6hrs of sunlight.

I’ll be keeping an eye on this grow!
This fastbuds NL autoflower is growing rather vigorously in my eyes! I just wonder what she will do outside this summer in the backyard Sunshine!! Granted, this one is being spoiled with proper temps/humidity. And inside. Plus it's late winter, which means no fuckin mites to deal with. Until summer season hits. I've haven't done an autoflower outside before. So my plan is X4 NL fastbuds autoflower & x3 rhino ryder & the other x2 wedding cheesecake auto all fastbuds beans. It should be interesting along side my summer photo period light deprivation plants! bongsmilie I got my work lined out for summer and fall!!

Will your outdoor grow be in pots or in the ground?

I respect your light dep, I've always been unable to commit to being home twice a day at the same times for 9 weeks in the heart of summer. That's why I switched from photos to autos, they start indoors late May, go out into the ground first week in June and finish mostly late August (in my climate and latitude).

They, the autoflower I mean, will be in 5 gallon grow bags. They will be hatched as soon as my spring time temps. Stay above 50 degree at night. Photo periods will be in 7 & 10 gallon planters put outside mid July after a 1 month veg. period inside. Then I will start my light Dep. Until September. Reason being is I only have a small backyard and greenhouse. Natural budding starts August 15-21. Usually my finished plants are about October 7-14.

I’ve also got a northern lights auto growing right now. Just started flowering. Seeds are from Growers Choice.
Sweet, don't be afraid to share pics :bigjoint: Heres my FB NL auto at day 18ish right now. I strangled her top down only this time! I'm super stoked to see how she finishes and taste :weed:

Ok heres my NL auto at 3 weeks from sprout. I tied her top down below the secondary shoots. About 3 days ago now. She hasn't seemed to skip a beat! And Her little sidekick buddy, rhino ryder in the back ain't so little anymore lol. She just going to be grown naturally (no training).

Nice! She is so healthy and Full looking! Ready wi stored up power in the healthy foliage, for the flower, stage that is, LOL. Great job!
Thanks! It’s technically my first NL grow since I lost the others a couple of months ago during the freeze/power outage.

She sprouted the same day as the Pineapple and Blueberry but is taking her time. I’m okay with it.
