I got 2 Northern Lights plants that i am growing indoors, but with natural sunlight. Theyare right next to my window. they get good sunlight from about noon-7 everyday, and this is all ive ever done for them. they look very healthy, and are approx a foot tall. They are in 8" pots that have a mixture of potting soil and miracle grow. they are 6 weeks old, with the 2nd layer of 7 pointed leaves coming out now. im just wanting some comentary on this. are they too small? will i be able to get any bud out of them? how long do they take to start flowering like this?

sounds pretty gud so far bro, but i would highly recommend u give them a better light source because they might stretch and not grow with full potential, make sure no one sees them either, anything can go wrong!
i think its goin pretty well though!

Cheers :)

Here is the deal, marijuana needs 12 hours of darkness to flower.. If you want to initiate flowering you may have to move it to a dark room (12 hours a day) if there is more than 12 hours, or give it some extra lighting for a few more hours a day.. Figure out how long your days are now and you'll know which one you need to do.

This is true, but hes basically growing outdoor, or with outdoor light, so he wont have to initiate flowering, it will flower when the days become shorter in the beginning fall, but im not really sure because Ive never grown using sunlight indoors, its a rare situation lol anyways man your NL's look great for being next to a window...

well my plants do get darkness, at night when i go to bed there isnt any light. they are on a approx 7 hours light then 17 hours dark, with some of those dark hours being just indirect sunlight. judgeing by my pic, how long until you think it will start flowering? or at what level do the buds come out of?

Well as of now, the days are getting longer, which means thats when plants vegg outdoors, now is the time most are getting ready to start growing and start veggin'...so basically what im sayin' is that they are going to vegg for a long time before they flower...but then again, you situation is rare, indoor with outdoor light...a strait outdoor grow, i start mine in april and they get pounded with sun thru may, june, july etc, until the days begin to get shorter again and it naturally signals the plant to flower, I hope im makin sense... anyways i cannot definitly tell you how your plant is going to grow...just keep it up and see what happens. they look really good for the conditions they are under.

you cant count indirect sunlight it is still light out your bedroom light counts for light to.Darkness means no light at all like in a closet with no light. You probley wont get bud with what your doing.Tv even counts fore light on plants.

that light isnt bad if you put them in a closet at night make sure its at the same time every night. And you take them out at the same time every morning.
