Northern lights ???

I grew out a 10 pack of Sensis Northern Lights about 5 years ago just for the hell of it since all I heard was there genetics had turned to shit. 5 females, 5 males. 4 of the phenos were good stuff, just nothing worth keeping. They all smelled really spicey, earthy and hashy. But one stood out big time, totally different. It stunk to high heaven... Skunk, earth, hash but had a strong fruity berry smell with it. Later found out it was the NL#5 pheno.. Potency was off the charts totally different than the rest, they were relaxing and stoney. This one would absolutely fuck you up, huge hard fast head rush, euphoric and slightly psychedelic. It was known to induce paranoia and I have seen people rocking back and forth with there eyes closed wishing it was over wondering if what they smoked was laced. Good times...

I actually found a few pics of it I posted on here a few years ago. Ran it twice before I lost the cut. Don'tet anyone fool you, sensi gear is not shit whatsoever. People just get upset cause they cant find the pheno right off the bat out of the first pack... I did though.

Camera quality was not as great back then as it is now... But still beautiful buds. Did I mention it was fully done at day 55 and could be taken even at day 50????

I still want to try Atomics NL... heard nothing but great things about it. Anyone that's grown it or had it, can you describe the terps on the Atomic? A little detail about it? May order a pack soon.

Not trying to jack the OP's thread but does anyone know where to get PURE NL#1? I already have the 89 NL#5 (Nev's Bx).
I have a bunch of Coastal Crosses and he supposedly used original NL#1 stock for the male. I'm not sure why he didn't release the NL#1 pure if he had a male. Maybe he wasn't allowed to. I used a UFO male on a SSDD female and have about 14 seeds. Pretty stoked on that cross. FYI - I think Bodhi, Coastal (Crickets and Cicada Seeds), etc. are working with NL#2, which I heard is supposed to be the best NL line. So there are NL1, NL2, and NL5 crosses out there. I have a nl6 x appy cross from bodhi. I haven't seen any crosses with any other NLs (3,4,7-9)

A few years back I was gifted an original pack of NL#5 from The Seed Bank purchased in Amsterdam in 1989. Somewhat surprisingly after 27 years in the freezer 9 of the eleven popped. Two of the sprouts died within a few days but the rest were healthy. Of the remaining seven I got 2 males and 5 females and I did an open pollination. Structurally the females were very similar. The most major variation was in the flowers size, smell and resin content. This year I am Finally going to have the chance to run a large number of these seeds to select a great mom and dad to work with. I have definite plans for these killer old school genetics.

I am planning on doing a lot of vlogging this summer. We just spent the last couple years building our forever home and I plan on documenting this years outdoor grow from land clearing to harvest and posting it on the Treehouse Genetics Youtube channel but I will also do photo journals here for specific strains I am working with including the NL#5 circa 1989 aka NL89.

Far as i know no one sells nl1 seeds pure they only breed with it at the wishes of the northern lights crew who are responsible for it in the first place

I grew NL#5 from Nirvana for quite a while and i can confirm that its good, just don't like how strong it getso_O. I've had the occasional pheno that is small, slow and weird growing, but potent smoke. but if you get the right pheno, large buds that the stem has a hard time holding up.
