i plan on continuing my breeding project instead of making seeds this year i will be beginning the search for a keeper pheno. ive back crossed my gdp specifically looking for flower density and structure then took this back cross and crossed it with an extremely dark almost black looking purple kush who has the genetic trait of turning purple at any temperature from the onset of flower. the ideal keeper pheno will have the structure, flower density, and resin production of the gdp but will have the improved color from the dark pk. ive planted a bunch of gdp bx1 x pk as well as one in house genetics platinum kush breath as i found that strain incredibly potent from my last run.

Testing at least 6 more too. Very nice job, these are definitely very dense. Never got a notice you tagged me though or I’d have gotten back sooner.
wooo that looks awesome i cant wait to hunt something like that if i find something really special i may make some feminized s1's. hows the nose on that one the gdp is fairly stinky the pk had more fruity terps when i took a deep breath sometimes id smell what i thought was a berry smell.

Seedlings are starting to take off, ive decided im going to only run one light instead of both and i can fit 20x 3 gallon fabric bags in my black tray hopefully this will be enough to find something nice.

After looking a little closer it appears these 3 seedlings are the most indica looking

so i mounted the vortex fan on the ceiling today above the lights with the appropriate vortex filter since i dont run the a/c and co2 generator in the winter. my thoughts on the filter are its nice that its aluminum its nice and light as well as skinny it fits perfectly above my lights. only have one gripe about this filter why flare the ends on your fans to accept the filter but not make the diameter of the end on your own branded filters large enough to slide over the flared ends on your own branded fans fuck was that ever stupid had to add a little piece of 6" ducting to connect the two as well as 2 6" clamps. as well as an additional strap on the ceiling to hold the filter.

so today as far as i can tell ive removed all the males from the room, i believe all the remaining plants are female. so after the males are removed we went from 42 clones down to 18. the clones are bit yellow but the roots are growing down into the water things should improve in another week or so depending on root development the clones will be going into beer cups. in the next few weeks we'll start to see which plants have the early purple trait maby we'll get lucky and get one with purple trichomes as well like that purple hash in my other post above.

well it would appear all the females have inherited the early purple trait from the pk :eyesmoke: looks like a win win just gona keep lookin for a plant that leans to the gdp side. its way more fun looking for phenos then chucking pollen around the room and sneezing everywhere lol

so things are moving along i feel like theres two females out of the group that are interesting they smell and look like what i was trying to achieve and the clones are coming along they are in beer cups now and are hardened off they had some trouble with the low humidity at first.
