Not enough water oxygen?

Rh - 50-70%

Temp 15 lights off and 26 degrees lights on.

Air pump each valve with 200 litres an hour of air in a 18 litre DWC tub

Ph is 5.5-5.9

Ive been told not enough oxygen in water, Too much fan blown on them too hot too cold im lost and need a closer diagnosis please.

As the temperature of your nutrient solution increases, the ability of that solution to 'hold' dissolved oxygen decreases. For example, the oxygen content of a fully aerated solution at 10C (50 F) is about 13ppm, but as the solution warms up to 20 C (68 F) the ability of the liquid to 'hold' oxygen drops to 9 - 10ppm, by the time the solution has reached 30 C (86 F), then it's only 7ppm.

That said there, sounds like warmer the water less oxygen is held in the water??? Sooooo do i have the water cold or warM what will give my plants more oxygen im lost here.

Ill put a heater in one of the buckets for 24 C. see if that heps

try heating pads(cheaper) under the buckets. their sitting on concrete arent they?

i did say it backwards wow im an ass. so srry dude. you are correct.

Your alright mate everyone does have there moments. theyre on a blanket on concrete yes and the temps dont get too hot at all their room temp and Humidity is (well in last 24 hours was) Min = 19 D.c RH = 58% Max = 28 D.c RH = 80%
Water temp is usually colder rather then hotter. The thermo saying around 20-22 D/c Ill check tonight around 1 AM to see how cold the water is in one of them buckets.

So maybe what im thinking maybe the water temp is fine but them 18 litre buckets and that 200L/h of air isnt enough. This week will be buying another air pump.

i really cant tell air pump size i always bought the biggest one lol. but it sounds like you got this, you could mess around with RWDC and get the waterfall effect and you wont have to use air pump, but focus on what you got going on now sounds like you will be alright.

Im going with a 300 l / h. They say 1watt/gallon, which usually ends around 300l/h aka 5liter/min for 20-25l bucket

Yeah i bought the biggest one too but might have to buy another :( I Did have a RCDWC system before the DWC but i started having cleaning issues and gunk was always collected on bottom of drum too many issues.

Hmm well with mine im getting 3.3 litres/ Min this is 18 litre bucket.

I try to keep mine above 19 degrees at night to avoid mold/fungus problems.
Well in one of my buckets ive got a water heater set on 24 D.c so see if this plant will have any change.

All in all my set up seems somewhat fine temp isnt way out DO isnt way out so why are my plants health way out. Just gotta keep fighting this one :(

From my experience and research, optimal water temp for our plants is around 72 degrees, although colder water can carry more DO than warmer water, you should still keep water temps around that 70 mark for optimal growing conditions. The trick is to keep it around that AND raise DO at the same time, anything above 10mg/L of 02 saturation means you've got it nailed

Good luck getting 72 deg water above 10 without supplemental oxygen since saturation is only 8.5 ppm at that temp. That is if you happen to have a Hach kit or YSI monitor hanging around to measure it in the first place.
