Not herm, but not sure...

Hey guys, Not a huge thread-maker but having trouble with something and need some advice. I am a newb and found my closet had not shut properly a few days ago while I was gone. I'm growing two plants and am finding seedling pods on the bottom of the nugs on one. No hermi traits or male parts, just swollen calyxes with really immature seeds in them. The other plant is fine and I haven't found anything. I had some auto plants go hermi on me earlier in the grow and discarded immediately. I'm pretty sure they didn't pollinate though, as it was only a few days after the last faux pas. I would have pictures but no camera. My question is, If there are no male parts and only some immature seeds, should I still chop and dry early? or does anyone know if, letting the plant with seeds stay, there is any chance of my other plant being pollinated because of this one? sorry for the lack of pics, too poor.

oh, and the closet problem has been resolved for now.

Its most likely pollin from the autos, if you don't clean very well, pollin can stay around for a long time.
Don't trust any seeds that are produced, they are likely hermies as well.good luck,and....:peace:...J.L.

Thanks. I noticed that none got on my other plant at all though. And with the absence of male parts, are you suggesting to let it go?
Yes,keep a close eye on them,if you see any (male parts)just remove those. If you see 5-10 its not a big deal, but if you see 20 or more I would get rid of it .I think you just have seeds .hard to tell with out pics. But I would let it go untill I knew for sure.Good Luck!..:peace:...J.L.

Thanks Jack. After observing it today, I found no more seed pods under the skirt and things seem to be pretty normal again...I guess it's ok. I also noticed that on the same plant today, a lot of calyxes opening up with hairs and such. I don't know if this fact is significant by itself but I took it to mean that there is still energy being directed toward the production of thc and not seeds, as the calyxes were unwrapping hairs everywhere and stuff. Either way, thanks for the insight.
