Not sure if I've messed up

Hey guys hope everyone is good. So I've done the classic thing of reading up and toking at the same time on how to top. Got me snips and went for it. Had another smoke now worrying I've done it wrong. Someone tell me it's all gonna be alright.

You really can't do it wrong. It's a weed While it may not be what you are going for, you won't kill it and you'll learn.

No problem, good luck on your grow.

That is not how you properly top but as long as you give it time to recover it should be fine. Should have cut the center out between the two leaves.

Cheers mate can't believe I read so much about this before trying and still got it wrong. Time is no worry so will be interesting to see what happens

That looks like exactly how I topped mine. You’re gonna be fine man, I ended up with 4 tips instead of just two.. more weed though

It depends on how tall the plant is. I let mine get to 5 nodes the cut the 5th one off, exactly like he did. I’m pretty sure he did it correctly. If you cut on top, or in between the NEWEST growth, you’re more likely to fim because it’s just tighter growth. I like to do it the way he did just for ease!

Well now I am confused lol. Kind of what I thought about fimming. Thanks for the reassurance going be so interesting see how this turns out. Was going top the other one tomoz as imo needed another day growth to make things easier. Will probs try the other way on this one and learn twice as much with this grow. Its gorrila zkittlez strain and really looking forward to some good smoke from these 2

The highlighted yellow shows new shoots that would have been 2 colas .... the X mark is where common topping is done ( snip or careful break off ) .

Any ideas on how it will grow now. Bit annoyed I managed mess this one up but I'm optimistic it might turn out ok

Well I have a personal experience I'll share
The biggest best plant I ever grew
I mowed it over at a foot tall
After that it turned into a monster with buds for days

Cool I was kind of hoping this could be one of them situations lol. Will atempt to do the other one the right way tomorrow. Its all good learning but do want get a decent smoke off my time and money that goes into growing this beautiful weed

Yea it doesn't really matter where you top just try to get it as close to the bottom node as possible. I have long stubs sometimes and it doesnt seem to effect anything.

Can you show me where to cut when i want to fim it?

OK so I've just topped the other one and still unsure but thanks for all the help anyway. First one seems be doing well. This is only my 3rd grow after 2 successful grows keeping it simple. Going do pretty much the same this time just wanted try some lst and topping see what happens. All good fun and learning. I love this hobby and sorry about the blurple pics, will take some out the tent next time just don't like stressing them too much atm
