Nice looking budman! Thinking of trying this out on my 2 Qrazy Trains I got vegging. One is a trifolate plant, so it could get interesting doing a manifold job on it ;) Got two 5 gallon felt grow bags and some of that same kind of plant canopy green velcro ready to rock!

i am a total noob, but learning more and more everday. keep in mind, mainlining will increase your veg time drastically, but it looks like it will pay off in the end!

nugs is the best resource i have in this hobby of mine and his advice cannot be minimized. he has helped me out of every pickle i have gotten myself in. as far as im concerned, nugs is the tops.

we mus really soak it in while we can. he has made himself available for all of us, indiscriminately...

Just got back from a two week camping trip and I can't believe how much has happened since I have been gone. Can't wait to see what that vortex does.
Looking good as always nugs.

One question, How many gallons of super soil do you make during each batch? trying to figure out how much I will need to make.
Thanks, Snow

How long have you had your plants vegging since sprout in that picture? Both my QT's are bout 25 days old and have their 5th going on 6th internode i believe. The normal one I'm probably gonna top right at the bottom (1st) node because it has some really nice side branching going on there and they look to be the strongest of the nodes. And the trifolate Qrazy train I'm probably gonna top right above the 2nd node where it has the strongest branches growing.... leave the 1st node on it to take 3 clones in a week or so maybe if i can find my humidity dome.....

Do you have a journal going on budman?

thanks bro.....mainlining will add an average of 10 days onto your veg vs. traditional......anytime you top a plant, it will add a bit of time on.....so obviously a 4 head will not need the veg time of an 8, 16 or 32.......but really, the benifits greatly out weight the added veg time.....which i consider to be "building the foundation" of a kick ass, heavy yielding bitch!

nugs what do you think of trifolate mainlining? Gonna be pretty much the same way as normal just working with 3 branches at the node instead of 2? I'm hoping it turns out to be a female and not a waste of time but it would be worth it either way to see....

once you get the system down, you will be amazed at how fast you can get most plants to respond......it takes some practice to get the gears greased.......i also know how incredibly excited budman is for this grow.....which i am pretty sure makes it seem like everything is moving even slower than normal!

yeah, no doubt...i have done it.....it works just fine....the theory is fundamentally the same....except you start with three mains off a single node instead of 2.....go for it!....even if it is a boy, it is valuable experienced gained!

i would say think ten days sounds about right...once you get through all the topping and training then they can begin to do their thing. do you prune any fanners while vegging...mainly bottom guys...

i dont you like to lollipop/clear out around 21 day flower.

this!

anticipation is killer. once you initially shock them with the first cut they bounce back pretty quick. overall its not going to add much time...

about how much do the DTs stetch? 100%
