Nute Burn Question

At the moment you notice nute burn, what do you do, do you turn the lights off and flush after noticing, wait for the lights to turn off at night then flush, or just flush immediately with the lights still running, I'm just curious on what others do and want to follow the most logical and laid out explanation I can receive, also any articles you can refer me to would be greatly appreciated.

Just back off on the nutes and that's all? No flush at the moment? It's only a very little bit of burn so it will be fine I'm sure.
