Nute Mobility Question

Hey all, so I just had my first successful harvest of strawberry fields. It's still drying/curing right now but I'm extremely proud with how it came out. Even if it doesnt end up weighing as much as it looks, I've sampled from an early sample and it is plenty potent. I've been smoking for about a decade now, medicating since 2012ish, so my tolerance is pretty high and I'm really picky.

Anyway, I already sprouted two sisters of hers and they're growing almost too well. I'm using Mykos in them and I can't seem to keep nitrogen in the bottom leaves lol I didnt have this issue last time, but I'm also using a base medium and not the FFOF "hot" mix I did before.

Using ProMix this time around. For nutes I've been using FF big bloom and grow big. Tried to give it CalMag (NPK 2-0-0) when I noticed the leaf issues as there was a bit of brown spotting too.

The brown spots went away, but the yellowing is persistent as a bitch. I make a blood meal tea that it loved but like two or three days later it was back to yellowing lmao

So the question is why do you think I'm having such a hard time keeping it fed when I've used quite a bit? Does the Mykos break down nutes that much faster or does it just seem so drastic because I went from a "hot" mix to a basic medium?

Used a 600W HPS that they were actually getting too stressed under at their age so I had to move them to the 300W mars hydro blurple that their sister grew under.

The pic is old, I'll get a new one up ASAP.

Pro Mix, or any peat product , can have a pH around 4.5. Are you feeding full strength nutes? Are you checking your feed pH? Suggest doing so and adjusting your feed to 6.2-6.5.

Peat has low ph but pro mix adds lime to keep ph at about 6.3. It is a professional grow medium.

The bales have 2 kinds of lime. Fast and long acting. They recommend to water the first week with tap or well water while the lime activates to keep ph up for new starts.

They have a very good education section on their website. I learned a lot about gardening there.

Promix is pretty inert compared to FFOF. You will need to adapt your feeding schedule accordingly. GB and BB, even used together, do not constitute a complete diet for plants. Some EWC and micro supplement would help. Also at least a 1/4 does of calmag every feeding.
Or scrap the FF nutes and get some General Hydroponics Flora Nova Grow. Its complete and works well with Promix. Just be sure to shake it very well before each use.
