Sorry to ask this beings im sure this question is somewhere in the faq but i couldnt locate it and im a total newb heh so here goes. I just transfered my sprouted seedlings into my drip system im using for my veg, do i need to put the pump on a timer right now to only feed like 3 or 4 times a day or should i just let it run 24/7 untill the roots get down into the water and then switch it over to a timer? Again sorry if you have been asked this a million times but this is basically the only thing ive really had trouble locating info on, other then that ive learned everything i think i need to know to get me started from you guys :)

Thanks

specs: Its a 4 plant 10 gallon drip system, and im using rockwool and hydroton rocks as my med.

lighting: Im using 4 19watt cfl's equal to a regular 75watt incandecent atm but i think im gonna go out and get some 23watt/150watt ones beings after i read major tokes threads it sounded like hes had some great success with them.

nm i think i found it in the faq's now heh, from what i got out of it is i just really need to pay close attention to topping off the solution daily with half the current strength and alternate days with that and only fresh water untill i decide to mix up a new batch about every 2 weeks. so running my pumps 24/7 from what i read shouldnt be a problem as long as i dont let my solution get low on any certain nutes before i decide to dump the system and replace with new nutes. If im wrong on any of that i would appreciate any help.
Thanks to you all for all the valuable information you have here :)

You are correct, and thanks for answering your own question! The only thing I would add is be careful when you put small plants into a drip system, especially with a drip-ring around the plant, and watch for the dripping on the rocks splattering up and drowning the leaves. That has killed many a small plant.
