hey midnight tokers, im using fox farms tiger and big bloom, the bat guano and earthworm castings (brown stuff on the power cord) seems to be separating from the water around 5 days in the container.

could someone tell me why big bloom is separating from the water in the reservoir and if i should be concerned?

I'm going to guess precipitate as being what you're seeing. I'm not sure what else it is you're talking about, because the yellow stuff on the cord looks like all the fucking pine pollen we have. This stuff gets so thick that if it rains (like it has been) that sometimes, in some places, it looks like someone has spilled yellow paint all over the place. Freakin' wild ACHOO! :x

hmm, the reservoir is not exposed to any pollen though. thanks for takin' a look seamaiden.

well the nutes are water soluble but the guano and castings not so much that is what is goin on i think i mean if you take a cup and put some dirt in it swirl it around i bet it would take a couple of days but it would settle too. i mean guano and castings well theyr dirt kinda

They don't dissolve, but probably some compounds in them dissolve. So, I'd guess you're on the right track with that, TG.

siht, I've NEVER seen pollen like what I see since I moved to the Sierra region. Leave any doors or windows open and everything in the house is COATED with this coarse, yellow pollen. It's a beautiful color, I just don't want my whole world painted with it.
