nutrient question

im new to growing, but im a quick learner. if some nutes acually increase trichome matter, does anybody know which macro nutrient specifically does this? or is it a combo of micros? i have an array of diffrent nutes at my disposal. i have a bottle of G1 higro 1-1-1. since i am 2 weeks into flower i have added a bottle of flower general hydroponics to the bottle of G1. the general hydroponics i added have 0-8-6. heres a shocker though, i dont use them. they are at my site but have only been applied once or twice. my girls are doing fine without any additives. so finally, my question, what areas would i benefit in if i were to feed now? and what numbers are best for trichome developement?

oh, and, at week two, my girls are just developing resin on buds and leaves,,,.. and the G1 contains kelp extract, does kelp help at all with resin developement? help would be greatly appreciated :)

There are a lot of companies that claim to have components in their nutrients that help with certain specific types of developement but I think it is BS.

Basically you want to give your plants a good ammount of Nitrogen during vegetative growth, then cut back on the N and supply them with more Phosphorous and Potassium during flowering.

I think a certain strain is predetermined to develope a certain ammount of resin, thc content, and trichomes. It's up to you to feed them enough so that they can develope this on their own.

alright, makes sense. does anyone know why a few of my plants are growing inches a day without any nutes whatsoever? soil compounds or something? i would benefit from feeding though, in one way or another?

if they are different strains then that would explain it. if they are the same strain but from seed you could get multiple phenotypes which would all grow and smoke differently. if they are all clones from the same plant then it's something you are doing.

no, not stretching. they are in optimal conditions. on a swamp receiving sun from sun up till sun down. theres only an inch, maybe, between nodes. and i have clones from a bunch of different mothers. oh well. im happy with them. i just wondered if i would benefit in any areas if i fed them? density or anything? that all has to do with genetics?

since everybody looks and nobody answers, i started feeding at one of my sites anyways. most of my nutes are veg it turns out. and i am now out of flower nutes. can anyone suggest some good nutrients for bloom? based on experience? i want big, sugary buds xD

here is one operation, with one monster purple kush plant, one purple kush clone, and one bagseed plant. the monster plant completely hides the two behing it though. :)
