I bought into Advanced nutrients and think you are right, problems. I was following as directed and the EC was around 4. Thanks!

I also use FFOF and think it's full of bugs. Where I am it's winter and I've been seeing little flies here and there in my house. I just had a major issue with spider mites. There are no other plants.

It depends how hands off you want to be and what you consider acceptable yields. I'm currently running a mix with 1/3 organic "supersoil", 1/3 backyard compost and 1/3 sphagnum peat based potting mix. I sub-irrigate and just add water for the duration of the grow. Yields are currently at 0.5 to 0.75 g/Watt trimmed, dried and cured.

Doesn't get any simpler and for me, it's sufficiently effective.

Wizzlebiz is true and straight up on the FF Trio it does work a fellow grower of mine
has excellent luck with it, like I've said I just stick with the Petters 20/20/20 im old
school in that and it's just too simple to use in Pro-mix soil just start at 1/4 tsp and
go up to your sweet spot for your plant and soil.

I dont think Fox Farms is developed for cannabis honestly. I quit using their products a few years ago after quality issues like finding fish hooks in their soil and chunks of rust and metal.

Their nutrients are known to be used at 25% strength to prevent burn. Personally if you want something easy look into Advanced Nutrients Connoisseur PH Perfect or their 3 part PH Perfect they work great. THe connoisseur is a 2 part though and has more bang to it. (humic & fulvic acids, wet betty surfactant and some other stuff). Oh and a big benefit of Advanced Nutrients "ph perfect" products is you can use all the additives while still not screwing with PH or worrying about it. Just add the amount of A&B they say to use into your water and your good to go.

You don't need any of that. Most nutrient companies targeting cannabis growers come up with all these silly feed charts that have people using a dozen bottles because they make more money selling more products. It's not because they are needed. They're in business to make money. And who better to get it from than some stoned cannabis growers that are mesmerized by the names and cool labels. You won't find this kind of nonsense for any other plant.

I think you have to figure out if the nutes work for you in your environment, media, plants, water.... It's all trial and error. I was out Googling this morning.

"Advanced Nutrients' products can be used in soil and coco coir too, although they are designed for hydroponic growing. ... Choose one of the six Advanced Nutrients' base nutrient ranges and begin growing! "

I am using AN nutes G B M and was using (I think) Tarantula, Sensizym and Nirvana. One of the labels said the product would increase stem size, and I think it worked the stem sizes were increased. So while I don't think AN nutes work for me, I think their enzymes products work. Her's the problem with the enzymes. Enzymes are suppsoed to be organisms. I don't know how they hold-up being transported in hot trucks or sub-zero weather. We my be using bottles of sterile liquids.

I think Koolbloom powder works, but was sidetracked with AN Big Bud, Bud Candy and the other nonsense (for me) so will switch back.

I think unsulfured molasses works too.
